You get to greenlight a sequel to any game that has ever existed. Which game do you choose?

Battlefront 3, just that.

My dreams would come true if it gets the greenlight.

Eternal Darkness, because i want to see all the awesome sanity effects in glorious widescreen HD and so that they can make the combat less of a sticky mess of target chop smack dead magic smack dead magic dead next room.

Amplitude. Still my all-time favourite game and with Rock Band appearing to have reached its natural conclusion; I'd love to see Harmonix create a true sequel to their magnum opus.

Also, and I'm both shocked and appalled that none of you had mentioned it beforehand, TimeSplitters. Number 2 is still, in my humble opinion, the Greatest FPS Ever Made and I feel that the thing this generation is missing is its own TimeSplitters. They don't even have to make a new one! Just HD-ify TimeSplitters 2 with online and leaderboards and I'll be the happiest man alive!

So, those are mine. Get to it, developers! Make it snappy!

I finished Vampire: Bloodlines yesterday it is certainly worth sequel, too bad developer bancrupted the day it was released. Some said Republic Commando 2 and I also had very good memories with it.

But my choice would be definitely Legacy of Kain, Im an absolute fan of this series and proper sequel would be heaven. Too bad Crystal dynamics became Square enix pawn for Tomb Raider games.

nexus jupiter incident and dk 3 as Rex said above.
Nexus indeed.

The first Nexus was awesome, and I'm so unhappy that the second game never made it.

Especially after having seen a preview of the graphics engine (The Black Sun 2 engine). This would have totally set the standard for space combat graphics. Consider that what you see in the video below is from 2005 ladies and gentlemen:

I would pick Loom - mostly because it was intended to be a trilogy, and the ending left a lot to be desired. It was also one of the first games I ever played properly.

Champions: Return To Arms/Champions Of Norath
mostly because these were the best top down game I've ever played. return to arms lacked story but despite that I played them a ton plus in this generation of gaming the online feature would be much easier to use

Banjo Tooie! I mean a REAL sequel. I don't want some racing game, I want another 3D Platformer. Why has the world turned its back on that genre!

A sequel to "The World Ends With You". I finished that recently enough and I love it to pieces.
Looking through the list of games so far I want almost all of them though. It's annoying when a great game doesn't get commercial success.

Beyond Good and Evil.
You don't leave a game, a very bloody good game, on a cliffhanger like that!!!! /rage

I will seriously eat my dominant hand if it gets greenlighted and then postponed again.
Well, maybe not eat my hand. Probably cry.

Freedom Fighters.

The first was cool how you evolved from a plumber to a resistance hero and you could pick the order of some missions that could impact other levels. And I liked the charisma system were the more you did the more resistance buddies you could have to tag along.

In the sequel I'd hope for a open world continuation of the story of the 1st game.

There are quite a few games I want to see to get thedequel treatment-

Gotcha Force (I love that game to bits.)
Phantasy Star Zero (They probably will make sequel but for the 3DS which I do not own yet.)
Star Wars: Republic Commando (An awesome game and I would love for them to make a sequel that will be much longer this time round. Also provide conclusion to what happen to that missing team member.)
Phantom Crash (This time the spelling should not be Engrish.)

Gaah, too many to choose from !

* a new "Master of Orion" game that's *not* the junk that Master of Orion 3 was, but borrows most of the good stuff in MoO2 and makes it even better (heck, even SoaSE is closer in "goodness" to MoO2 than MoO3)
* a new game in the "Independence War" series, second one is still nice even today, but it's been way too long since it came out and could do with some heavy-duty graphics updates and a new story
* Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri 2
* an Elite 4 that actually comes out some day

If I'd have to choose... I'd say a Master of Orion persistent single-shard MMO-RTS.

Jedi Knight series. And no, TFU doesn't count, it's a far different (and far shittier) series.

Also, Alpha Protocol. But that might already get green-lit :D
