The ability to learn quickly.

Not exactly going to do much for crime or crime-fighting, but if I can master things much more quickly, it would make pretty much all of life better.

Hmm. It's actually tough to think of something I couldn't use to fight / commit crime.

I guess I'd go with the ability to recall and forget things by choice at any time. It'd help during tests and generally when answering question, and also to help forget things I'd rather not have experienced, known or seen.

The ability to charge batteries at the rate they would charge if they were plugged in. Only on batteries that can be recharged, though. Pretty much just means I'd never need to plug in my laptop, ipod, or phone, and that if someone's phone dies I can just take it from him/her for an hour or so and it'd be ready to go.

The ability to read people's thoughts. You'd be able to tell if someone's lying, if they would go out with you, if they're cool/douchey, etc. Sure, I guess you could use it to fight crime, but you'd still have to work at acquiring fighting skills before you could do the fighting.

EDIT: Oh, just thought of another one: the ability to repress my emotions at will. It'd be useful in stressful situations so that you can deal with them logically instead of letting your emotions rule.

The ACTUAL ability to not give a shit. To such an extent, you can think of something terribly sad, annoying, stupid etc and not care in the slightest - I.E seeing a troll in a thread or someones terribly misfortune and shrug it off and get to work. Would also be useful for waiting for release dates or games when you're being distracted and you have to force yourself to work.

As in... completely useless aside from helping me on my day? ... Summon organic regular, chocolate or soy milk out of thin air as I please.

... Actually... that... huh. Don't think there really -are- any useless superpowers, depending on their limits.

The power I would like most would be that when I sleep it takes place apart from the flow of time, so when I wake up no time has passed. That's all I want. It would really make life great.

Supposdedly useless powers make for good stories, take Chew for example, a brilliant comic about a cibopath, a guy who gets psychic images from whatever food he eats.

The ability to clean myself and have perfect hygiene, at will. As in, I simply will it and am suddenly clean, including my teeth.

Change my hair at will. Style, color, length, etc. Then I wouldn't have to worry about wigs for cosplaying and focus solely on the costume aspect.

The ability to master any manual dexterity task by seeing it once. Example - learn to play guitar instantly, or to draw like a god (because that's really just manual dex)
Boy thats one good idea, and uncopyrighted. I plan on just taking this idea instead of wasting time of forming my own this time. Cause damn how I'd love to be able to draw like a god or play the guitar instantly. Music/the arts + your amazing at it + ???= profit.

Anyone use to watch fairly odd parents? well there was this one episode where timmys real parents got superpowers. And the dad had among other powers, the power of meat vision!

He could shoot cooked meat from his eyes. thats the power i want.

I don't think any superpower would be useless to find crime... that or I'm mistaken.

I'm thinking about telekinesis, that cool stuff.

To be able to touch something and have it be clean/not messy.

No more need for a laundromat and never have to spend any time cleaning. Ever.

That includes shooting a gun, or throwing a knife. The Marvel Characters Taskmaster and Echo have this power, it is called Photographic Reflexes.
