I would travel back to 1250 BC, around the time of the Trojan War.

1250 BC was during the reign of Ramses the Great (according to the conventional chronology). Although that's a great period to be in, if you're in the Egyptian empire, the Trojan War never really happened! You'd need a dimensional shifter to gain access to a myth parallel instead.

I would go to the 30s and become president and unfuck the country. then i would use the designs i brought with me to build modern military tech and equip america with 'futuristic' weaponry. i would use my uber army to beat the Nazis and defeat Japan. since i had futuristic army there wouldnt need to be any atom bombs created, because my future tech defeated japan so fast. then i would join my forces with whats left of the german army and give Stalin a good ass kickin.

so, no a-bombs, no ussr, which means no bin laden and no 9/11! hooray me!

(Also, i would put a signifigant amount of resources into developing clean energy sources and FTL drives and Arc reactors or something, so we could go to space!)
