0. I occasional get a notification on being quoted (generally by someone who has a bone to pick with me) but I generally go through them before anything else here. (unless I really don't want to have to respond to someone).

Ditto. Replying to a message as soon as you can shows that you respect the users here, IMO. Plus, it's hard to ignore the alert too, it's red and flashing and everything.

I don't know. I guess there are people that just don't bother. Maybe it is a one-way social thing, people talk and blurt out whatever to everybody, but don't answer back to everybody else.

Well I have zero at the moment. The only time I don't read or answer right away is if I see a message or messages come in and I am just too tired because I'm about to go to bed.

There was one time I was really lazy for a few days and just didn't want to deal with messages. I think my count only built up to 4 or 5 messages.

I'd probably get 200 or more a day, if I didn't turn off the User Group notification that sends me a message every time somebody says something new in the user groups I am in. Only important user group news posts and replies to my chat comments from me.

That's why I post in the religion and politics forum, you get quoted a lot when you bring something new or good to the discussion, you also get quoted for saying stupid bullshit.
