I wanna hear your opinion on the small things that make Mass Effect 2 great. Things that you have to do during the game, or else you've missed the whole experience. For example..

You haven't played Mass Effect 2 until...

You've heard Mordin sing.

Have one biotic use pull, then, while suspended in mid air, have another use push, and send the enemy flying through the air. This combo acts like a cannon. Very comical.

Until you have played through it and then tried to go back to Mass Effect 1.

I started a vanguard in ME1 after beating ME2 twice and it was painful. I thought I had liked the micromanagement of mods and weapons when playing ME1 but when I went back it felt like banging my head against a wall with stupid tasks. ME2 is superior in every way which makes me sad because i doubt ill ever really go back to playing ME1. Plus the controls are so switched up that it makes it that much tougher.

You buy a copy of the game, place the disc in the tray of your console, progress to the main menu of the game and start a new file.

Wow. There are a lot of ME2 threads popping up lately.
OT: You haven't played ME2 until you've beaten ME1

Surely then you'll only have 'beaten ME1', as opposed to 'play ME2'? Your failure at logic astounds me.

I know exactly what you mean, my friend tried doing that same thing, and was raging the whole time over the problems in the first.

Until Razor came with a decent crack ?

ME1 left me a bit disappointed and I will not buy Mr. 2 until I rule it is better than it`s predecessor.

Trust me when I say it surpasses it in every way possible. I know the reviews all say the same, but the amount they improved on it is incredible.

There's only one aspect in ME1 that I think is better than ME2. Just one. The number and variety of weapons and armor. In ME1, I remember having to clear out my inventory of up near 60 weapons to make room for more items (generally more weapons and armor). Now, in ME2, I'm half way through the game and have a choice of 2 pistols, 2 sniper rifles, and 1 machine pistol. Same goes for the armor. I have 1 different chest piece, a small arm pack for extra ammo, and that's about it. Sorry for getting off topic, but that's really the only downside to this game. Still a 10/10 for me, and one of my top 3 favorite games, for sure.

HOW DARE YOU?!

You haven't played ME2 until you hear "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite store on the Citadel".

You haven't played ME2 until you have used a Renegade interrupt.

You haven't played ME2 until you've heard Mordin's advice on sex.

You haven't played ME2 until you've imported a ME1 character.

You haven't played ME2 until you've been drunk with Chakwas.

You haven't played ME2 until you've played it the Renegade way.

You haven't played ME2 until you've had enough of her disengenuous assertions.

You haven't played ME2 until Miranda has cleared the engine room.

You do the suicide mission...with NO upgrades or loyal teammates.

I've never done that, I'm such a perfectionist in RPGs, it's scary.

You haven't played ME2 until you've shagged all the romantic options in the game.

Shepard. Hero, soldier, lover, terrible dancer.
