Hah, I win with the final boss from Gradius. It sits still, does not attack, and will eventually kill itself without you firing a single shot. In short, this "boss" requires a grand total of zero button presses to beat.

the huge crazy lambent brumak at the end of gears of war 2. Shows this huge transformation and all i do is shoot it three times with the hammer of dawn?? Is it even possible to fail that one? a bit anticlimactic if you ask me.

Almost everything in Fable:The Lost Chapters once you get multi-arrow spell.I see jack of blades BAM!Gets skull fuck by 5 arrows to the head. Also the Dark Prince in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, he just lets you hit him and does nothing.I would have expected a bad ass 1v1 fight

ACII. Seriously. Come-on, Ubisoft.

Demon's Souls true final boss. No armor, no weapon, no magic or miracles, no rings, only 3 healing grasses. The final boss to a game that hard should not be that weak and predictable.

So since there's a thread or two about the hardest boss fight, I figured we'd go in the opposite direction: what was the easiest boss fight you remember?

For me, it was Desann from Jedi Knight II. I spent the entire game chasing that guy that wiped the floor with me the first time we fought, I kill his apprentice, and then we finally meet, after hours of gameplay, for the epic final battle.

Cue 30 seconds of flailing around with my lightsaber and accidentally chopping down a column that falls of Desann.

Game over.
Lucien at the end of Fable 2. Aside from the Shard fight (which was far enough back to be only a regular boss), all you do to beat him is to traipse around kicking chickens and killing beetles for 5 minutes, then simply mash a button until the bugger is drained of energy. What a letdown.

Both times I fought Orochi in the Wii version of Okami, even with all the Wiimote flailing I had to do. Both times you fight him in pretty much the same style and maybe five to ten minutes later on both times, maybe more I wasn't paying attention, I was thinking "Did I just win the climactic fight with what was supposed to be this super deadly force? Yay me!". So yeah, for me it was pretty piss-easy.

Easiest boss eh? Tough not to say Robotnik from Green Hill Zone. Or I could choose some of the early bosses in Super Mario World. Several bosses in FFVII are easy too, just hold O until dead.

Lucian from Fable 2.

If you can even call that a boss fight...
You really can't. It wasn't a fight, it was a video of sorts, like a cutscene.
Probably the giant shard before you get to Lucien was the final boss...
Yeah, that probably was. Still too easy though. Then again, I had mostly perfect stats and a damn near perfect gun so nothing was ever going to be that difficult for me.
Same here, perfect stats and perfect weapons with the perfect augments.
[sup]Well, at least as perfect as it would be until the Knothole island DLC came out which has weapons with 4 augment slots instead of maximum 3...[/sup]

In Mercenaries 2, that Blanco dude. Yeah, he died in about 2 shots. But I got his awesome gun, though. So it wasn't all too disappointing.

Last boss of Borderlands. I barely even got hit at all. Only problem was, I didn't have any AR ammo left. And I didn't want to use that teleport thingy in the back of the area because it would feel like cheating.
I would've killed it the first time round, but the stupid 4x smg used up ALL my ammo. AND you respawn without any that you lost. I think I prefer the old system of continuing where you left off with the same amount of ammo.

The final boss in Gears 2. Seriously five seconds of light and ending.

Demon's Souls: The Old Monk

I know that the opponent in this boss fight is random when played online, but I've won the same way 3 times in this fight.

Stand to the side of the entry door without walking through the fog. Use magic against the dude with the turban until he dies. Boss fight over. Never even got scratched. (found out this strategy by accident) You'd think a real player would notice that I wasn't getting damaged...

And this was an Archdemon fight, yet. *facepalm*

Colonel Autumn from fallout 3. He wasn't any better than his mooks. Hell his body guards weren't even a challenge.

Unless there is a boss you can beat by standing still, Mysterio wins.

I can beat both of those. Star Wars: Republic Commando for Xbox.

It was a squad-based FPS where if you died your AI team could revive you. Here is the important part so pay very close attention: I WAS DEAD WHILE THE AI FINISHED THE GAME .

I don't know how else to stress this enough. I watched the AI beat the game for me.

I can beat all 3. The deceased crab in Monster Party, it's already dead. Pretty hard to top that.
