You know you're a nerd when you plan to see The Hobbit just to sit and mumble the songs from the old animated movie.

When you actually get a lively discussion going over the philosophical differences in appearance and execution between the two Willy Wonka movies.

When you have an opinion of well-done anime outside of Action Channel/Adult Swim and are not from an area with a dedicated anime channel.

When you have to practically gag yourself so you don't give away every secret in older games your kids play.

Just a few examples that mean something to me.

OT: You know you're a nerd when you find out ways to take advantage of a game like Skyrim's level system for example. It's one thing to play well, but to find out tactics to make yourself level 90 in sneaking within less than 10 minutes- yeah.. that's nerd quality right there haha.

I wish I was just making this up, but I usually listen to sc2 commentary like the day9 daily while practicing piano. It always make my students' jaws drop when they discover that not only do I love the game, but I have a muta necklace.
