When ever your hands are empty and idle they look like they're holding a controller.
That ain't what happens when you play too much computer games. that just happens normally. when your hands are sitting idle and empty yet your thumbs are still twiddling invisible sticks, then its time to start worrying.
No, that(what I was referring to) is not normal, it may look like they're holding something like a burger, but when you have you index fingers for the trigger buttons and thumbs on the sticks, that is what I mean by holding a controller.
but thats what i do normally... and i barely play video games (i play pc games these days). wow i must be really bad if its been that many years since i've played seriously and yet im still suffering controller-hand "syndrome" lol
I know the feeling and its very strange (I also play pc games). I played xbox a few times ages ago but the way my hand were just felt comfortable so my hands go like that because it was comfortable. The only time it changes is after I've been doing some excessive typing and that stops after a while and goes back to controller hands.

When you think a zombie plan can involve shouting "Turn undead!"
Mine involves a gravity gun and a crowbar.

- Every time you enter a room, you look at the ceiling. If there's a rope/wire/cable hanging down from it, you freak out and try to leave the room.

- You go snorkeling out at the reef and decide to swim the 10-20m down to the bottom of the ocean and grab a handful of sand. 3/4 of the way down, you halucinate a Metal Gear Solid 1 style O2 bar and a Ratchet & Clank 1 style O2 bar, quickly depleting.

- You're about to jump over a railing 3 floors up when you realise you've only done that before in Brink and Mirror's Edge.

- Your first response to someone picking a fight is to:
a) Knife them.
b) Punch them in the back of the head.
c) SLIDE TACKLE!
d) Chainsaw Bayonet.
e) Wait for their gun to turn red and press the disarm button.
f) Pipe Bomb!
g) Throw them over your shoulder before running away until the Alert timer reacher 00:00
h) Pull the trigger to execute an execution move. Then eat their hearts.
i) Mash the Square button until they die.
j) SUPER SLEDGE!

Cookie to anyone who gets them all.

- You wonder if you should backtrack and check that other hallway in case there are good items there.
- You look for presents suspended from balloons every time you hear gusts of wind.
- You refer to your clothes as having perks, e.g. hat with +5 charm, boots with +3 speed.
- Dark hallways make you wary of red, orange, blue and pink ghosts.
- You watch F1 racing on TV and think "if only he had a blue shell..."
- You refer to other people as NPCs.\
- You have more money saved in in-game banks than in real banks.
- You have to suppress a strong urge to break pots to see if they have money or items inside.

i kept seeing chocobo's out of the corner of my eye for about a month of seriously hardcore FF replaying. Also when i was getting too tired whilst playing said games i instinctively reached for a potion.....that was a bad time for me lol

When you see a church or similarly old-style building and immediately start looking for hand-holds to begin scaling it, Assassin's Creed-style.

While being in town I looked for the "faded eye" (oblivion stealth display) to see if I was hidden well enough.

you're constantly searching for health kits or ammunition packs.

Or when you eat/drink something and think of the stats it would grant you ie: eat carrot= +25hp + improved vision for 10 seconds

When you instinctively reach for the "activate cloak" button when crossing open or busy spaces. Just in case...
Or when someone scares you and you reach for the "activate armour" button before turning around to kill... er, speak to them.

XD i write ALOT for screenplays and novel work, whenever i get an idea and my laptop ain't near me my brain tries to make a permant memory of the idea while my hands seem to type on an invisible keyboard.

Not so much a gamer thing, just a writer thing i guess.

When you look for the best way to scale a building.
Same happens if you practice parkour...
all the time.
And then people look at you funny when you try to explain.

2.When I was outside and it started to get dark, I wanted to go inside because of monsters.
