Pavlov and too much nightly gaming means my eyelids still start getting heavy whenever I see a loading screen - at 5am those used to be the only opportunities to realise I actually was dead tired.

The weirdest one though was when I had been awake for 40 hours straight and suddenly realised that in my mind there were three different MSN chats with the same person going on, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out which one was real, and which ones my mind was making up simultaneously.

When I played Gears of War 1, I developed a habit of checking corners a lot and looking behind me at the slightest noise in game. I reacted the same way in real life once.

1. When you hear the music from the game at random times
2. When you have dreams about them. I've had Portal and Mass Effect dreams so far.

Dead Space 2 and Portal 2. I've played through Portal 2 three times already, which is impressive considering that my girlfriend owns it and I only see her on the weekends.
Everywhere I go at the moment, I Imagine popping portals underneath people and on a ceiling, then shooting off their limps in stasis as they fall to the floor.

whenever I play any game too long I'll always hold my hands really close to each other like there should be a controller there.

When you try the final boss 3 times in a row, and with the mixture of dying, grinding, and the final run, it takes you about 4 and a half hours to finish... and it was all worth it.

I love you, Persona 3.
Did you fight Elizabeth yet? If not, have fun. (She attacks twice per turn -_-)

After I play Rockband for awhile if I listen to music I imagine colored bars floating down in front of me.

I realized I played too much portal when I caught my self looking for walls that looked like I could shoot a portal onto.
I was like "hey that wall looks like I could make a portal on it... wait, I'm at school..."
Oi, me to. Every time I see a white wall, I instinctively twitch my index finger and expect a blue wormhole to open up.

During a boring shift at work my mind wandered, as it often does, to Minecraft. I was remembering a time when a Creeper got the jump on me in my mine the previous day. At that point a co-worker walked up behind me, and I was so startled I almost fell out my chair.

After a long binge on WoW, I had a dream I was gathering ore nodes for HOURS.

After beating Portal 2 in one marathon, I went to bed. When I woke up I punched my alarm clock because it looks just a little like Wheatley. Now it looks like Wheatley after getting punched in the lens.

I had a hefty addiction to bejewled at one point and i'd play it for so long when I closed my eyes I could see the grid and would start playing it in my head. Similar thing happened with guitar hero too.

Thanks to minecraft I occasionally look at things and imagine breaking them into their individual blocks and repurposing them.

Also after sinking probably around 1000 hours into Timesplitters 2 during my younger days I have a rather unhealthy facination with monkeys. It's also where I adopted my online alias from.

After playing through Metro 2033 in one sitting, my friend asked me if he could borrow a few dollars and I responded with "sure I could spare a few bullets". Or whenever I open a box I hope for there to be some awesome weapons inside due to Borderlands. I'm always disappointed when there aren't any.

Simply put, when you are playing only for impluse, not fun and cannot enjoy your life out of the game (happened to me mosty in my childhood- arround pokemon).

Ps: Finnaly found another avatar for Genre Wars...

I have to constantly remind myself that there is no Ctrl-Z in real life thanks to Photoshop, I have always looked at walls thinking about how I could rebound objects off them to hit things, always press I for inventory, climbing things, the best way to assassinate someone, throwing tomahawks at people, inventing pneumatic weapons, whenever I think about things I imagine pressing R1, I have to tell myself that I'm not playing Dirt 2 when I drive, I hold crowbars like Gordon Freeman, I CoD stab my friends sometimes, I've hallucinated games before, and I was attacked by creatures from games, etc.

When I wait for the trophy/achievment sound when I do something appropriately impressive. Then I get disappointed.
