When you're playing other games and you see something like a toolbox and your first reaction is to go over and press E to see what's inside.

You know you've played too much Fallout 3 when:

...your first reaction when encountering stupid people is to reac for your mesmertron (or weapon of choice)

...something is too heavy you reach for a beer.

...you hear an explosion in the distance you write it off as a car engine cooking off.

...you hear what you assume to be an engine cooking off but can't tell if that was in game or not.

(I live near an artilery range, I've done the last two)

When you have played for 250 hours and still aren't bored of it and are still finding new things (seriously, downtown D.C. is pretty amazing and is actually much more interesting than the Wasteland), and haven't even touched gameplay mods since it came out (I do use an interface mods because Bethesda sucks at sizing fonts properly, along with the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch).

Oh come on, these are fun....

When you open a locker or box and are perplexed it's empty because it didn't say "(empty)" when you looked at it.

Gods forbid you actually contribute something rather than being a smart-arse. <- You've just lost karma
