Play guitar. I can play, but I'm not a pro at it, and I'm incredibly bad at music theory. But I still enjoy playing.

Stuff like SimCity. I can gun down an army, give clear water to the irradiated masses and stop a biker gang from going to jail... but fuck me if I can build a house.

Am I just weird or is it ok to love something you truly suck at.

You see I love RTS games, but at the same time I can't micro worth crap so I normally end up doing extremely bad online and can often only beat the campaign on the easiest setting. Hell before the added difficulty settings to most RTS games I normally couldn't even beat the campaigns if they had no cheats :( (Orignal C&C + Red Alert, Starcraft + Warcraft)

Am I alone here? Or are there others like me?

-P.S
I also love turn based strategy games and I'm actually pretty good at those! No micro needed >.>
Well Considering that those RTS are some of the hardest ever. Its really no surprise. I'm still working on beating Star Craft Brood War, and I got the game years ago. But, eventually I will kill those cerebrates.
Starcraft is a hard RTS?

I've not played Warcraft, but I romped my way through the campaigns of C&C, RA and Starcraft each one in about two sittings...

Well then my friend you are a better player than I. But I guess thats what I get for wanting to complete it on the hardest setting.

Probably any multiplayer first person game XD.

I don't know why, everyone else seems to have red bull in their veins.

RTS' in general; In single player, or against bots, I can do fair to very well against... the two main reasons are
1. They're often predictable, and
2. I just love to turtle... build up huge amounts of defenses and see my enemy smack themselves to pieces against my walls, towers, castles, bunkers, etc.

Against human players, that doesn't tend to work due to human intelligence and -rushing- which I despise..

Against CP I can keep surviving till I've got an army with which I can sweep a map cleeean!

Videogames in general :p

Actually I've gotten better recently, mostly by obsessively playing CS 1.6 for a bit (now my laptop's broken so I can't). The only game I've ever been naturally good at is Timesplitters, everything else I'm pretty poor.

I suck at Street Fighter 2 (and fighting games in general, though I was ok at Soul Caliber 2) but I really love it. Until I get to Vega or T. Hawk.
Damn them!

I did it at the default. I'm not the kind of guy who likes to go back and do things at a harder difficulty, unless I really, REALLY enjoyed the game. The closest I've got to doing something again on a harder difficulty setting that I can remember was going back through Pokemon Blue with Charmander instead of Squirtle.

I suck at pretty much every game, but I still like a lot of 'em.

I'm so bad at Counter-Strike that I fail at crouch-jumping, but I still love playing it.

I'm terrible at multiplayer RTS games, but I love them too: Age of Empires, Rise of Nations, etc.

I'm only half-decent at Madden NFL, but I still enjoy playing that too.
