You love it, yet you suck at it?

Am I just weird or is it ok to love something you truly suck at.

You see I love RTS games, but at the same time I can't micro worth crap so I normally end up doing extremely bad online and can often only beat the campaign on the easiest setting. Hell before the added difficulty settings to most RTS games I normally couldn't even beat the campaigns if they had no cheats :( (Orignal C&C + Red Alert, Starcraft + Warcraft)

Am I alone here? Or are there others like me?

I also love turn based strategy games and I'm actually pretty good at those! No micro needed >.>

I would have to say music. I love music, and in theory I knwo how to play, I know the notes and how to read music. BUT I CAN'T FOR THE LOVE OF MY LIFE DO IT!

i know what you mean. i love warcraft 3 and i cant beat the last level on normal. and also i have a hard time beating others online.

Game wise or anything wise? 'Cause in games I stink out loud at FPS's, but still enjoy shooting men in the face (and in the game! =D)

Real-life wise, it'd have to be being humble, as I can never, EVER admit to being wrong. Even if I say "NO! This cannot be! I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!" and then die. Actually, especially then.

I couldn't think of anything gaming-wise, but in RL I am quite fond of skateboarding but I can hardly do an ollie. It is terribly frustrating, yet fun.

Same. Except I like to play tennis against friends who are better than me. It's funny to watch them get aggrivated. My prefered style is to pelt the ball high into the air and look on to see where it lands. And I don't have any valid tests on that sex part yet.

starcraft (though mostly because the only computer I have that is old enough to use it sucks)
Tetris. I am actually very good at Tetris (above average at least) but the only people that I compare my score with are......the only word that fits is GODS (yes with capital letters) of the Tetris religion.

Any FPS, but oddly my strength is in Beat em Ups, I mean they are different genres, but not that different! Im worst at TF2 and COD:WAW though, but have so much fun playing them, its good to know others share this kinda thing!

Any thoughts as to why you suck at specicific games ppl? (I dare not ask this of other acts mentioned in this thread!)

I think my lack of abilities in FPS is the view, since Im useless in that kinda view in games like Fallout, but if i can see myself, Im much better :p
