It just sort of went: "OK game's over, roll credits!"

I'm sorry but what?! The pope? Put up a fight? Popes are generally pretty old and frail and while the one in AC2 isn't exactly frail he is pretty out of shape. The Random Paradox said:I can't argue with that, but I expected more of a fight.
After all, he is the Pope.
Didn't hate it, but I thought the battle was a little anti-climactic for the game. It was a really good game, but the end was rather easy to get to. I am just used to games that have a steady difficulty curve with a sudden, small jump for the last battle I guess.GrizzlerBorno said:I wouldn't have gone back to free roam if they had allowed me.....not even if they PAID me, in fact.brandon237 said:Amen! That was horrid. Pick your poison, no going back in a free-roam-centric game? Not to mention the bushes and night time didn't help conceal your for crud!
To the point: Bioshock and SW TFU 1, you die or you become the emperor's little slave. How fantastic. Great ending that.
Bioshock because the boss, and the game, were a tad too easy for my liking.
anyway, Bioshock's ending was good. it wasn't mind-blowing, but it was okay and being easy shouldn't really make you hate the ending, should it?
what was wrong with alpha protocol? the main baddy was up top in a room with a rocket launcher and he had lots of baddies on the floors and stairs going after you, and getting up to that point was pretty good too, and in the end you make the choice on what happens and how it all ends, so its not bad imo, nothing jaw dropping but not bad for multiple ending possibilities.DeadlyYellow said:Has Obsidian actually delivered a good ending to any of their games?astrav1 said:KOTOR II. Nothing short of my prejudice against the developer. I tend to push their games to the far ends of my radar.gmaverick019 said:what was wrong with alpha protocol?
Ok cool, it wasn't too easy for me cause i wasn't too good with the Plasmids and tried using only the crossbow, rocket laucher, and incinerate... it's not as easy then.brandon237 said:Didn't hate it, but I thought the battle was a little anti-climactic for the game. But still a good game I will agree.
Considering that the first game had you fighting what I swear was an entire freaking army before facing off against the big boss assassin who clones himself, I was expecting more out of AC2's ending. The Random Paradox said:I can't argue with that, but I expected more of a fight.AjimboB said:The Random Paradox said:Assassin's Creed 2, the last level is too linear and the final boss fight was nowhere near challenging.Just the very idea that you sneak into the Vatican, challenge the Pope to fisticuffs and kick his ass is awesome in itself.

Jackal: Here's some wires, go blow yourself up to help this civilians escape into another equally crappy country where they all get raped and murdered like old times while I take the diamonds and "bribe" the border guards.GrizzlerBorno said:Far Cry 2. Terrible game, Terrible Ending.
