When me and my brother had to go clean the yard today.
I quickly said, "This is almost as bad as oddball on epitaph."

Someone put up a banner on campus written entirely in 1337speak, I was with my friends. I didn't even have to think about it, I could read it clearly first try. They couldn't. I had to translate. Even random passerby's would stop and ask me to start over. Terrible.

Arguing over which lightsaber form is superior to another.

Example: Djem So > Makashi, etc.
I've never heard of those words pertaining to lightsabres, can you please elaborate?
In KOTOR (1 or 2 I don't remember) I belive there were multiple forms you could learn that affected how you used your lightsaber. One helped deflect blaster shots, another made you more resistant to the force, another was good for multiple enemies, and another was for single enemies.
Soresu/Shien > Blaster,
Makashi/Niman > Force,
Shii-cho > Multiple enemies,
Ataru/Juyo > Single enemies.

It wasn't just in KOTOR 2, most were used in the films. Luke and Vader both using Djem So.
Obi-Wan using Soresu, Count Dooku using Makashi.

I wrote South Park and Invader Zim fan fiction and I read Manga. The fan fiction is not on the internet so don't look for it.
Wait....whats wrong with fanfiction? o.o
You are being ironic right? It is the nerdiest thing in the world and is mostly wish fulfillment writing.
And the problem with that is....? I'm kind of serious here....
Most fan fiction is stuff like writing a story about your favorite character who died in actual continuity resurrecting or turning out to have been alive the entire time and having characters get romantically entangled with each other for no real reason. Also, it has these characters called Mary Sues, or Marty Stews, who are idealized versions of the author and just come out of nowhere, solve all the problems and do other things that the author fantasizes about doing. If you spend enough time on any fan fiction site you will see all of this stuff eventually.
Yes, so....? This is bad then? I'm lost...

arguing the concept of time travel paradox theory with a friend that ended up in a fist fight
That went from Friendless high-school dork to Drunken quarterback pretty fast.
after the fight we decided that creating a paradox is possible so it really was worth the few punches

My point is wish fulfillment writing is generally dull and squanders whatever potential the author may have, and fan fiction gets it wholesale.

Started using Yu-Gi-Oh! cards again...
It was acceptable when almost every person in school did it.
Five years can do a lot to a hobbie's social status, I suppose.

Was the debate actually which one was the best? For all types of enemies? The game should be balanced so that each ability is suited to it's own situation and all are equal and balanced.
