Honestly, if I did own a proper pub, I'd actually call it Ten Dead Monkeys. I have actually thought about it before and I always theought that was a funky name.
It'd have a big oak plaque hanging from the shop-front, with a stylized shillouette of a monkey on it's back with a beer pitcher in it's hand. :D

McAnally's Pub

It be based off of bar from The Dresden Files for all you magical and non magical types can come for a pint and hot steak sandwich. It will have 13 windows, 13 carved pillars, 13 tables, and 13 stools at the bar. Just like in the book.

I'm not sure that I could beat the name of the pub down the road: The Poet and the Patriot. Bonus points for the fact that it isn't just a catchy name, but actually refers to a real Irish poet and a particular Irish patriot.

The Winnipeg Morgue. I've always thought that if I owned some sort of sports team, store, restaurant, or in this case a pub, The Winnipeg Morgue, or The Morgue, would be a pretty cool name. I'm not really sure why I think that's so cool, haha, maybe it's my fascination with death.

The spunky sausage.

The house favourite will be bangers and mash coated with lager, with a side plate of peanuts.

But honestly, most of the names I've seen that have an '&' in them are kinda catchy and fun to say for me. There's one near where I live called the Slug & Lettuce.
(Double post, yay!)

You wouldn't happen to be talking about the one in Nottingham next to the Cornerhouse would you?
There's a Slug & Lettuce near me as well, and it's nowhere near Nottingham.

Unfortunately, I get the feeling Slug & Lettuce is a nationwide franchise...
