I had that a while back. I have since completed all of my games (except WoW, I just can't get Loremaster!!!) and am going for 100% trophies/achievements on all of them before I buy any more games. Depressingly, that puts me on Braaaaaaaaaaaaaains! for Borderlands, and running through Fallout 3 on Neutral three times.

I'm usually good about finishing games. But there is that one... ironically, the iconical "Super Mario Brothers"
Yes, the first one. I think I got him to level 8, but all those hammer brothers...

i have 2 games to still complete, shadow of the collusus, and loz:link to the past. both of them at the last bosses, which are rage inducingly hard.
If you got through Turtle Rock you can beat Ganon... he's not as hard as some of the other bosses in the game. Don't give up when you're so close!

Just be patient at the beginning and dodge his attacks, swiping only when an opportunity presents itself.

When he breaks the floor, just hang about by the bottom of the screen, light the torches and then fire arrows at him. Once you work out the strategy it's not too bad.
it's not so much that he's hard, it's just he has about 2 times the health of all other bosses.

Completed Assasins Creed 3 weeks ago. I got it in april. Got a little hyped for Assassins Creed 2, seeing as I'm getting it this christmas, so I decided to get out there and finish the damn game, just so I know that I have.

Ocarina of Time. Every time, that damn Water Temple makes me want to quit and never pick it up again. I still feel bad about never beating a classic, but COME ON! Where the hell is that small key?!

Very rarely have I actually finished a game. Partially because I haven't played in so long. The other part being my brother was always a controller hog, so I never got a chance to play, practice, and achieve any sense of proficiency.

Unlimited Saga, which I doubt I'll ever finish, with any of the characters.

Oblivion, recently got back into it actually, might even finish it this time around.

Final Fantasy XII, and I never will. :|

Lost Odyssey. The part with 5 bosses at once trying to destroy a city and you have to kill them before they get to it.
I was stuck on that bit for about a year, and completed it the other day. I was so happy!

I put a lot of games to one side through either boredom, losing interest or they get replaced before finishing. There have been times i'll go back and finish them too, though usually something triggers it like i'll see an ad for the game or something.

Super Mario Bros. 3... Had it for close to 2 decades but still haven't completely finished it. I also have a few games which I've bought but never played because I've found others I'm more interested in. I need more free time to complete them.

Ive fallen into the end of the year awesome game flood, and this has happened to me constantly. Dawn of War 2 DLC was put off by Borderlands. Borderlands was put on hold with Dragon Age. Dragon Age was put off for L4D2. L4D2 was put off for MW2. All of the above have made me put off Torchlight and Gyromancer.

For me its always legend of zelda games, yet to complete one.
Whenever it gets to the part where i have to get -insert large list of objects- I simply give up and move on to the next game.

How did you manage this feat of super human efficiency?

I played the shit out of Oblivion a few summers ago and then got to the very last part which consequently, is timed, and after dying a couple times as a result of either lava, or that bullshit time limit, I just quit playing. Sometimes, I wish I finished it but then again every time I think of that last bit it makes me angry enough to not want to play it again anytime soon.
