Item spawning, after scouring the wastes, its great to come back to a spot and realize someone else has been there before you

Where as fallout 3, all the corpses would still be there and the items I picked up would be gone, no more about that, no new spawns. (I still love fallout 3)

That the terrain isn't copy and pasted a trillion times like in fallout 3
What do you expect a bombed-out nuclear wasteland to look like? Vegas?

Oh wait...

Better walking animation. Use Euphoria already!!!!!!! Bethesda's games have always annoyed me with their crappy animations for walking and running diagonally

good characters and an actual main fucking storyline....

honestly, bethesda is fucking god awful at both of those categories, i have no will at all to anything in their games due to lack of any characters that aren't copy paste or a story that isn't worth listening to for more than 10 seconds.

this is obsidian though, and they have given me both of those in the past so hopefully they continue on that at least..and hopefully less bugs?

Less underground tunnels, that really put me off exploring the D.C. part of the map... also more large settlements than Fallout 3, I swear Megaton and Rivet city were the only two proper towns that had more than about 7 people living there...

I definitely want the talking deathclaws to make a comeback.

I really wish that the story wouldn't end completely when you finished the game, but unfortunately the developers say it would ruin the ending, so that's off my list :(

ummm... I would have to say either a higher level cap, and more options to take during the main quest, side quests and with things like karma and faction choices. (is karma in F:NV, I'm not sure)...

More people. I know that a irradiated wasteland would not be very habitual to humans, even before the deathclaw problem, but a lot of the settlements had like, five people or so in there. Not nearly enough to make a sustainable community. There should be more people, even if they are just "filler" and have generic names like "Farmer" or "soldier"

Oh, and if the armor wouldn't decay as fast as it did in fallout 3, that would also be nice. I sometimes had to carry around four or five suits of armor to make it through one quest. Weapon degradation was also a problem, but not as much because you could carry a lot more weapons than armor.

I want Fallout 3's huge modding capability and the ability to transfer over some of my Fallout 3 mods into New Vegas. The rest will take care of itself after that.

Everything I want seems to have been done for New Vegas. I'm looking forward to it so much, even pre-ordered the collector's edition a few months back :D

Have more missions with a crazy amount of depth to them ( for example look up the most recent episode of Extra Credit), and well just more missions

For the game to be delayed so they can maybe take out a bit of the "brownness" from the graphics. From what I have seen in the screenshots it's not very easy on the eyes.

More melee weapons. Not sure why but I felt myself unable to play Fallout 3 with a gun, and went around supersledgin' everything to death.
