That it has less plot holes than the swiss-cheese golf course that was Fallout 3.
Can you please name one? I cant think of any plot holes personally.

OT: I would like more customization options
1. In the lobby of Tenpenny Tower there are green plants.
How did they get there?

2. If jet was invented by a man on the west coast in Fallout 2 and he never told anyone else how to make it before he died, then how did it get on the east coast in Fallout 3?

3. What did the Colonel Autumn's side of the Enclave want with project purity?

4. How do Super Mutants get captured humans into their vault with out them dying of the radiation around the surface entrance?

5. Why did vault-tec make the GECK if they didn't actually believe a nuclear war would happen?

6. How did Autumn survive the radiation explosion that killed your dad?

7. How does Tenpenny tower survive when they have no access to clean water or medicine?

Those are just the ones I can remember right now.
1. Well there are also green plants in Oasis so it might be possible to cultivate plants

2. I havent played Fallout 2 so i have no idea

3. Because he was following the orders given by the ZAX supercoputer, like his father before him, and was being a good soldier.

4. Drugs, specil treatment, radiation garments ect. all would work.

5. No idea about the GECK.

6. Because only 50% of people die when exposed to 450 rems, she was lucky.

7. They dont have access to clean water? Never noticed that.

Im bored and saw i had a message so i replied. I need to go play a game.

Actually one thing I ask for in literally every open world game that gives players a moral or ethical choice system, I ask for something akin to the hardcore mode.

I feel it's the difference between doing bad things in a game cuz you wanna be an asshole for a change or doing bad things because the game's world genuinely drove you to the circumstances to feel desperate enough to be a bit of a dick. Hardcore mode might do the trick, if they stick to making resources scarce enough to the point where at the end of the game I'm not completely loaded with cash and junk.

On that same note, let me hold people up for their cash and wears without killing them or picking their pocket? I don't know why, but it feels like it should be a legit option. For instance, coming up to anyone with your gun drawn would make them either give you their junk or try and fight back, obviously most intelligent non-crazy folk wouldn't fuck with a gun drawn on them.

On another note, just more choice period. I wanna be able to play fallout as a sweet talker with a golden tongue, who never has to draw his gun. I also wanna play as a bandit who robs the shit out of passers by. Hell, I wanna play as robin hood if I want, robbing from the ritch and having poor npc's who will take my shit and look up to me if I throw it down in front of them.

Please, let me be off work on the release day...

That will only happen if the office burns down. Damn it.
That's why you pre-order it on steam you silly goose ^^

Riot shields would be awesome, like you'd go into a police station and find some rusty half-broken riot shields to use. Or pick up some kind of trash can lid to use as a shield.

Shield-pistol
Shield-melee
= Awesomeness

My one hope is that my copy arrives a day before the actual release date so I can rub it into my flatmates faces. Mwahaha!

I just love elitists.

OT: Better animations. Come on Obsidian, make it so.

Hmm.

Better storyline has been said.

Also: for the world to make some more sense than in Fallout 3. Why is there so much loot after 200 years that looks like new plus a little dust? Force all the developers to read "The World without us".
Next, include farming, or some other way for people to actually live in that wasteland you created.

Yeah, I'm weird enough to care about stuff like that in my games.

They had their chance. They messed it up with BoS. However fallout 2 is in my all time best games list.

That its development goes back in time to bring a truly new and fresh game, instead of a rehashed version of Fallout 3 with prettier graphics.

More varied, stronger and increased numbers of enemies!
One thing I always hold against Fallout 3 is that you could walk to the next town across the wasteland for half and only fight a few Giant Radscorpians, or a group of Raiders all wearing the same armour, or the identical Talon Company mercs that all die in one hit.

I understand that this is an apocalyptic wasteland and so the population isn't exactly going to be big but you can can atleast give me more and stronger things to shoot so that I am not sitting around with Ammo coming out of my ears.

My wish is that I get it for my birthday... and that the games' hardcore mode is realistic.

More quests and npc groups for us bastards. All we got in F3 was the crappy slaver missions. It's New Vegas - c'mon, there's gotta be a Mafia family or two I could join! An underground boxing ring I could cheat my way to the top of? What about the opportunity to make it as a porn star? Please tell me I can become a drug dealer! Arms dealer? Anything?

Basically, please tell me New Vegas is New Reno from F2.

Together with an overall reputation, they put the reputation system from city to city (like fallout 2) back in the game.

I hope the games draw distance is improved. The sniper rifles were rendered obsolete because you couldn't see an enemy unless you were in the general area in which case you may aswell whip out the assualt rifles.

Less bugs is all I ask. Fallout 3 is so unstable that I still can't play it properly in fullscreen, it randomly crashes. It was just terrible when it was first released though; it was literally unplayable on release.
This times infinity. The ONLY problem with FO3 (especially the GOTY edition) is the crashes, if they fix that this game will be perfect.
