Ive been anticipating IGN's Game of the Year Award to the nominated games. I was woundering what the escapist's members game of the year was. So what is it. I must say Batman Arkham Asylum as mine

OT: My vote goes to MW2. It's just so... everything. It covers single player (beautifully), co-op (astonishingly) and multiplayer (OMG) so well.

Dragon age..... dare I say it needs to be longer.... I beat it in 25 hours with all the allies.

Assassin's creed, batman, MW:2, L4D2.... close but i did not play you 5 times over.
L4D 2: friendly A.I. sucked
Batman: easy boss fights
MW:2: did the airport level have to be a big deal? I mean I know killing civilians is a bad thing and morally wrong but next year people are going into hell to slay babies.
Assassin's creed.... no one has the time to beat you 5 times over, but the clothes make me look like a pimpin nuka. an italian pimpin nuka might I add.

I'm going to say Borderlands, due to the Multi-player. And I don't have one for SP. At the moment.

Very nice. A truly fantastic game that all should experience.

My 2009 GOTY is Blazblue: Calamity Trigger. Since it's the best fighting game I've ever played it deserves at least that much.

I haven't played much in the way of new games this year. Skate 2, various plastic guitar things and Assassin's Creed 2.

So yeah, my game of the year prize goes to Assassin's Creed 2, if only for being the most addictive thing I've played in years.

Hmmm... This is pretty hard. I played a lot of older games this year, and out of any games I played this year I would have to say Far Cry 2. But restricting it to games that came out this year...

I guess ODST takes gold, followed by Borderlands and L4D2 coming in third.
