Arkham Aslyum as far as single player goes. For co-op it's a tie between Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands for me.

uncharted 2 hands down. Cant wait for the DLC thats should or hope will be coming to the US soon. It has 2 new maps, new character modles from Killzone 2, InFamous, Resistance 2, and ones from the original uncharted.

'Screed 2. Uncharted 2 was a great game, but it didn't do a lot in the way of innovation. 'Screed 2 was set in the freakin' Renaissance.

Dragon Age.

Oh, the hours and hours I wasted on that game. And soon, with an expansion! Wheeee!

Dragon Age Origins was my favorite game last year. The only other game I really liked last year I think was Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Well in terms of how much i've played it, MW2, it's still as interesting as when I first started playing the multi-player, I mean imbalanced as fuck, but interesting.

But overall Dragon Age: Origins for sure.

Persona 3.

...

So what if it didn't come out this year. I bought it in January and it is better than any else I played this year
That and Valkyria Chronicles 2 will go head to head this summer for the crown of my PSP game of 2010 :D

For 2009, a tie between Unchrated 2 and Dragon Age Origins, with Demon's Souls a close third.
Problem is, I haven't played Batman: AA and AC2.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy, it's so addictive fun and easily has clocked the most hours out of most other games I've played. 500 hours of playtime and it's STILL fun, it's just such a perfectly put together game and is the highest quality game I've played all year.

Cryostasis also deserves mention for completely coming out of nowhere and smacking me in the face with a boatload of awesome. Most atmospheric game I have played in a long time and a real sleeper hit. This game really deserves more attention, I just love it.

Dragon Age gets my vote for the rime being (probably until i get my grubby mitts on Uncharted 2). The story in it however cliched was enthralling and was the first RPG i actually cared about what the characters had to say.

Has to be Borderlands. It's by no means perfect, but I just love the concept of the game, a free roaming FPS that isn't limited to short, linear episodes played one after the other. Some more variation in the human enemies would have been nice but you can't have everything I suppose.

1. Assassin's Creed II.
2. Batman Arkham Asylum.
3. Brutal Legend.
4. Halo Wars.
5. The Maw. (XBLA. Short but absolutely amazing.)
