I'd create and leave guns around areas for enemies to pick up just to screw with the player.
Also, that would make it so that no one can sum up Fallout 3 or New Vegas as "Oblivion with guns".

I'd haunt Mirror's Edge and RANDOMLY SEND TENTACLES OUT OF THE WALLS WHICH WILL RAPE FAITH TO DEATH IN SECONDS... and I would fix the camera so the player can't actually see any of it.

Every now and then while they are walking through the long grass/cave I would show up.
My name would be Random Naked Man and it would be a picture of me naked striking a pose.
Then Whenever they try to Run/Attack it would say "Random Naked Man uses Ownificate!"
Then I would thrust in their pokemons direction and a laser would shoot from my crotch and make all of their pokemon feint instantly. This would happen multiple times through out each play-through!

I'd haunt Far Cry 2. I'd be a benevolent ghost, helping citizens escape. Oh, and I'd rip apart hostile soldiers and shoot them with their own guns by using telekinesis. Where's the fun in being a ghost if you can't kill things?
I'd be fun to haunt The Path, but really, I'd like to haunt MMOs.
Just find clueless newbies, and just be helpful. Wander about, you know. Maybe give good luck to nice guilds in raids 'n such.

I'd create a real version of pokemon black and haunt it, using my ghostly powers to get it in the hands of person after person. It'd be disturbing enough on it's own, but just think how much worse it would be I could mess around with it at a whim as a malevolent spirit. No two people would experience the terror quite the same way.

I'd haunt WoW because it has the most players in a MMO and more hours logged into it. So I would actually never be forgotten. What would I do? Take levels off of people. Put levels on people. Randomly kill everyone in the realm permanently...or every time they are about to deliver the final blow on something, that monster/player turns into a picture of someone they love and they watch over and over again as they kill someone they love.
The barney game that kicked my ass on the nintendo 64 when I was a child, if I have to hurt, so does everyone else.
