Fight Club is my number 1. I fell in love with that movie after I saw it.

Donnie Darko is prolly my second. It's incredibly interesting with a mind-bending ending.

It's tough for me to pick just one, so I'm going to categorize (Let me be, I'm a film student)

Favourite Comedy: Chasing Amy. Possibly my favourite.
Favourite Sci-Fi: Moon. 35% of the credit of my enjoyment to that movie was Clint Mansell's score. Also the fact that it's an acting masterpiece, with beautiful cinematography and a cool plot. I *gasp! Shock! Weep!* preffered it to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Favourite Drama: Requiem for a Dream (See above for soundtrack)

Star Trek (2009) is definitely my favourite movie of all time.

WHY? that movie took a collective shit on what star trek was,(what the movie bob on it and it sums up my feeling perfectly).

Apocalypse Now
No Country for Old Men

Not much more to say actually; if you haven't watched either of them you owe it to yourself to do it.

The Usual Suspects. Strong ensemble, great non-linear way of presenting the story, and it bears the distinction as one of the few movies I watched and couldn't guess the ending until about 10 seconds before the reveal.
