F.E.A.R (the first one) still strikes me as the funniest FPS i played. The AI clones are FUN to fight. And the horror, music, are all well done.

..And yes i played pretty much everything else that came after it (COD4, BC2 ect) and none of them come even close to the fun i had with F.E.A.R

The funniest part of tat game to me is when you die the game just starts loading the last checkpoint.

I liked the Battlefield's on PC the most of all FPS's. The Bad Company series comes second

Mine would be Killzone 2. The only game I've payed where you atually care if your teammates are alive or not. Most game other pepople wouldn't give a shit about you. The atmosphere online is amazing and it makes you feel like you are part of an epic war. Halo, Gears, MW2 etc.. don't have that kind of atmosphere.

The Halo series. (Including ODST)
Just... Halo... An epic war between a *mostly* ruined human civilization and a hyper religious, crusade like, alien brotherhood. A main character so manly it would make most 80's action stars blush. "I'm going to give the Covenant back their bomb."

Now for my reasoning for liking ODST. It was generally well rounded. I liked the characters, especially Mickey. I felt the plot was good, it was just long enough to not outstay its welcome. I do genially enjoy firefight. Plus my copy of Halo 3 was broken so it gave me a reason to pay for the game.

Call of Duty 4. That game blew me away and it was one of the few games with multiplayer that
kept me coming back. Gears of War 1 though is definitely either a tie or a close second.

Unreal Tournament. It's just shooting, no bullshit with figuring out puzzles, just running around, picking up weapons and shooting people with them great fun. I played the 4 levels in the demo of it more than any other full version game I had for weeks, until I decided I should buy it. It's just that good.
