Uh my Mums side can be traced back to a Portuguese sailor.

But my Dads side is Scottish/Irish.

If I was born Medieval times I assume I would be born in Scotland.

I've been told I'm part Native American, judging by my mom and grandma, I'd say that's an accurate statement. My grandma (on my mom's side) is straight up Irish. White as snow, haha.

I'm 50% French, and about 30% Fin. The rest is a mix of several.
An interesting combination, the stereotypical attitude of either side contradict each-other entirely.

Mums side is all English to my knowledge. My Granddad on Dad's side married a Polish Jew which confused me a bit because he was a British soldier although I know those sort of marriages happened.

Scotland, entirely.
Although my great-grandmother, although another Scottish descendent, spent most of her life in Fiji...

On my dads side, Danish as long back as I can trace.
On my moms side, have no idea as she is adopted.

Um well I know my family are from the UK, but I'm a bit confused as to where exactly. My mother's side is Scottish and English and my father's side is either Scottish and English or Irish and English. Cullen is both and Irish and a Scottish name, so it could be either one.

Hmm, don't know too much about my ancestry, but I am quarter German and I am told to have some Irish, Cherokee (I think), and some Russian blue blood.

Don't really know where I'd have been born, but I'd guess Germany? Or rather the Germanic states, or whatever they were called back then :p

Well let's see, my parents are both New Zealand-born, my dad's side goes back about 7 generations and then traces back to Scottish and Irish, my mum's mum was Australian-born from a family immigrated from England and her dad was... um... I don't actually know much about his side of the family.

Probably just easier to say "mostly English, Irish and Scottish". Not sure what else you'll find if you go back far enough.

Sketches said:
English for 800 years straight I think (Give or take 50 years). Also all born in the same region on England for the past 100 or so.

And when I say 800 years straight I mean my Dad's line and my Mum's. And my Mum's Mum and my Mum's Dad. And my...

You get the picture, basically no relatives who contributed to me (And almost all who didn't) were anything but English.
(I got lucky, my Uncle is Australian)

So excuse me if I'm proud of that.

Oh, I say 800 years as I don't really know before that, it gets a bit murky. (And the Norman Invasion)

And I'd choose to live in England.

This is England! (<-- Film referance)

Edit: Correct my years if I'm wrong about the invasion and stuff, but I'm pretty sure they're right.
Also, I know alot of my relatives went on the Crusades.
Well, close enough. The invasion started in 1066.

On my father's side, I am Descended from the royal line of William the conqueror until the time of the war of the roses (where they were ousted by the Tudors) So I have a whole line of movie bad guys as my ancestors. From King John in every robin hood movie ever made, to Edward I "longshanks" from braveheart. My family is full of jerks. From that point they were in germany, until some midget named Napoleon forced them out, and drove them to russia, and then to the US.

My mother's side is German-Danish. Not nearly as interesting.
