This is going to be a relatively long list, so I'm just going to put each category into spoiler tags.

Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy
Volume 1 of Gundam Wing
Gundam 0080
Several volumes of Dragon Ball Z
The first 3 Dragon Ball Z movies(Ocean Dub)
3 Dragon Ball movies
The first two volumes of Gundam 0083

Robotech(3 volumes I think)
Tenchi Muyo In Love(I think it comes with two other movies as well)
Char's Counter Attack
Season 1 of Bleach

And I have an imported version of Char's Counter Attack that I bought at Otakon in 2004(I think it was 2004, nostalgia just hit me like a ton of bricks). I was an idiot for buying it though because I don't know Japanese. So I had to wait for the official North American release to be able to watch it. Whoops.

Spice & Wolf
Black Lagoon
Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail
Soul Eater

My Blu-Ray collection is pretty small for the time being

And those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. If I went digging around I would probably find stuff I forgot I had.

Attack On Titan(Blu-Ray, when it eventually comes out)
Cowboy Bebop(Blu-Ray, when it eventually comes out)
Log Horizon(hasn't been licensed yet as far as I'm aware, but I plan on picking that up on Blu-Ray when it eventually makes its way over here)
Hellsing Ultimate(Blu-Ray, hoping for a complete boxed set to come out)

The UK is pretty terrible for getting to watch anime legally online. So I've had to buy most of the ones I wanted to see.

sextus the crazy said:
The only new one that I really want is the Madoka Magica Movie 3 Limited Edition, but it's so expensive and I haven't seen the movie yet :(
I know what you mean... As much as I wanted the films limited edition, I've bought the normal ones because they are so costly.

Gundam Wing Vol 2
Draong Ball GT (it was a couple of the last episodes)
Gurren Lagaan movie
Tiger and Bunny (they got it as volumes but I prefered it to be one big boxset)

Ghost in the Shell: Arise (once it has complted airing its episodes)
Gundam Unicorn (once all episodes are out)
Jojo's Bizzare Adventure
Kill La Kill
Shirokuma Cafe (very unlikely to be release outside of Japan due to dub/ translation issue since the main humor in that show reolve on Japanese word puns

I only buy anime on dvd if I LOVED them (so I can rewatched them whenever I want to). Granted a few of them were bought during the early days of anime in the UK mainly the volume 1 dvds(before youtube or online viewing and a 4 episodes dvd used to cost£20)!!

Not a huge anime fan, though listing it out has shown I have more anime than I realized.

DVD:

-Outlaw Star the complete series
-Slayers "The Complete Series" (the classic first 3 seasons)
-Slayers the Motion Picture
-Hellsing Ultimate Volumes 1 - 8 (1-5 in the special edition DVD sets, 6, 7 and 8 in the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack.)
-Blue Submarine No. 6 miniseries.
-Darkstalkers complete OVA (I also have the American cartoon, but let us never speak of that again.)
-Ghost in the Shell
-Ghost in the Shell SAC
-Garzey's Wing (Yes, THAT Garzey's Wing)

VHS:

-Record of Lodoss War box set (dubbed version)
-SiN: The Motion Picture (Based on the FPS of the same name, bought it at a flea market and haven't watched it yet.)

Wishlist:

-Sherlock Hound
-Berserk the Golden Age Arc 1-3.
-Hellsing Ultimate volumes 9 and 10 (Whenever Funimation releases them.)
-Vampire Hunter D (and maybe Bloodlust)
-Big O the complete series.
-The rest of the Slayers seasons and OVAs.

I would put the Hellsing TV show up there but I rewatched it recently and it just gets worse with age.

I had an acquaintance in the 90s who was huge into anime at the time that you could still see Akira labeled prominently as "Japanimation!" in video stores. She lent me a catalog for one of those early import/dub companies (probably U.S. Manga Corps.) and I remember the prices were like, $15 - $20 for a 2 episode VHS. And this was in 90s USD mind.

I'm in the same boat... only I go as far as to only buy anime series that none of my friends own on DVD at the moment... (which has limit myself even more on which series I would buy later on...)

Seriously, if I didn't put that second limit on myself, I would have also wanted anything from Gainax, Clannad (with After Story), Black Lagoon, anything from Studio Ghibli, anything Lupin The Third-related, Case Closed, anything Ghost in the Shell-related, Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, Basilisk, Beck, Bubblegum Crisis, anything Gundam-related, Read or Die, RahXaphon, Witch Hunter Robin, and anything Macross-related...

StormShaun said:
- Of course, the two DVDs of Clannad and the other two DVDs of Clannad After story. [sub][sub]If you have this or at least watched this, you are not on my kill list.[/sub][/sub]
Woohoo! I may not own this series on DVD (mainly because one of my friends already owns it in his collection), but at least I have seen this series already... (Probably should not have watched it alongside Kanon and School Days, though...)

Yeah the prices on the set have gone through the roof haven't they? One of the first things I ever bought on ebay was a bootleg of the show, didn't know it was a bootleg when I'd ordered. The seller (from Utah) included a card promoting the Mormon Church with it, who thinks it's a good idea to plug their faith while they sell bootlegs? Still chuckle about that.

Was lucky enough to get the official black slipcase "perfect" box several years later before they became scarce. Though being moved a lot means the slipcover is in rough shape these days.

And of course, I can't afford any of the stuff on my wishlist, and I probably won't any time soon. These are just ones that I think look interesting and/or fun to watch.

Mine's short.
Tales of Vesperia The First Strike (Blu-ray)
Welcome To The NHK.

The reason it's so short is because I found out that Funimation likes to put region locks on the DVDs and they are the ones publishing the animes I would like to buy. Getting the message that I am a criminal for trying to watch the movie (which I paid for) in my region made me want to stop giving them money. I had to watch it on my PC and then DVDs lost the edge it had over streaming. Crunchyroll got a PS3 app that lets me Stream and watch on TV.

Sorry for the rant.

My Anime Dvds: Chobits.

Boom. I win. Thread over.

Anime dvds i want to buy? Well, that list would probably go on much longer than I want to type, and would cost more than my tuition, so i'll just stick to crunchyroll for now

All the Dragon Ball Stuff and Cowboy Bebop belongs to my wife but it still counts as part of "The Collection", these days all I really bother tracking down are Sunrise Mecha Shows that are currently out of print... also I think my wife still has some old Sailor Moon "China Town Special" VHS's kicking around... I got rid of all my anime VHS's ages ago... at least I think I did... unless they're in a box somewhere...

Oh for those unaware... a China Town Special is a bootleg DVD from Chinatown here in my city, sometimes they're very high quality... sometimes they have home printed labels.

My Anime Dvds: Chobits.

Boom. I win. Thread over.
*flips table* I knew I was forgetting an anime series on my wishlist!!
(Than again, I was also forgetting Humanity Has Declined and Space Pirate Captain Harlock on that particular list, so who knows if I'm still missing a few off my initial wishlist... I'm pretty sure I am...)
