Ok...so here's the story...

I recently started playing Battlefield 2 and realised how good it was compared to all these new ones you get (on the possible exception of Bad Company 2, but I have yet to try it). When playing this, I though of some areas in which it was great but could have been so much better on todays generation of consoles and such, as you do.

So then I thought: "Wouldn't it be Great if Infinity Ward (Call of Duty, Modern Warfare series), DICE (Battlefield series), and maybe even throw in some Treyarch (Call of Duty: World at War, Nazi Zombies) all got together and made the best Multiplayer War game Ever?"

I've never seen why they haven't already done it; they'd make enough money to "buy St. Paul's Cathedral and grind it into a fine, snortable power", be popular enough to make sure that everyone will play it everywhere and probably end all war everywhere.

Anyway, the question I give to you folk is: If You were to Influence the Game Designers into joining forces with other game desingers to make the Best Game Ever, what Game Designers would you Join and what kind of Game would it be?

I'd love to see a collaboration by Aksys and Capcom.
I'd also like to see a Mass Effect 3 with the sort of gripping cinematic sequences that Infinity Ward can make.
Then also From Software and Blizzard to make an action RPG

Anyway, Shigeru Miyamoto with Koji Igarashi, Shouzou Kaga, Hironobu Sakaguchi, Hiroaki Yotoriyama, Nobuo Uematsu

These people are responsible for everything Nintendo, Castlevania, Fire Emblem, final fantasy, soul caliber, and final fantasy 7 music, respectively. And finally, I need a little bit of a time machine to pull up the talent behind Free Radical Design(Timesplitters) and Clover Studio(Okami, Viewtiful Joe). Add in Bethesda.

Oh jeez I'm almost positive that game would explode the universe.

Brian Reynolds and Julian Gollop working together on turn based strategy game. Themes and other development to be worked on by Suda51 and grasshopper manufacture.

Basically, I want X-Com starting with something like the Laser Squad Nemesis style battle system. The strategy game would be based on some concepts from Alpha Centauri and Colonization. The aliens, research and world would be created by Suda51.

True, though Arc System Works wouldn't need Capcom to do such. They already did as much.

Give me Volition (Saint's Row) and Rockstar (GTA).

Then we'll have the old over-the-top GTA gameplay back, with the amazing graphics and humor of the new ones.

Tim Schaffer working with the guys behind Bioshock and Silent Hill 2.
Might cause the universe to end, but it would be awesome.

John Romero + 3D Realms, I'm pretty sure they'd make the best game that'd never get the chance to make you it's *****.

Blizzard + Valve + Bioware

Sure, it would take 15 years to make anything, but it would be awesome when they did.

Bioware with...
Wait, Bioware are perfect, they do not need assistance.
No, no they are not. BioWare is made up of the fractured remnants of Black Isle, along with Obsidian and the now dead Troika.

BioWare with Tim Cain, Leonard Boyarsky, Jason Anderson, Chris Avellone and Mark O'Green. Now that would be perfection.

Valve and Bioware would be good, at least it is in my mind. Great stories and gameplay. In reality, who knows but chances are that it wouldn't work. Shame because it sounds good.
