DoD on Avalanche. I was in the church tower as axis and picked up an allied sniper rifle to use while up there (After slicing him down with my shovel). I picked a few people off than saw a grenade fly up. I decided to try my luck with jumping off, no scoped a sniper (whom I had stolen the rifle from in his last life) who was in the allied sniper window above second flag. I then switched to shovel as I fell and shoveled to death a random guy I landed on, before promptly hitting the ground and dying myself.
It was quite the epic way of dying.

Scored a kill at about 800 yards using a Barrett .50. Distances can be huge in that game and scopes are pretty much required, but for the heck of it, we decided to do it without. It pretty much boiled down to firing entire clips at a tiny moving pixel half a mile away and hoping a shot hits.

It was back when I actually played Halo.
I was going up against a sniper and we were the only ones on our team. One shot determined who won the game.
My mom came down and started talking to me, distracting me. I was getting pissed and I aimed somewhere a shot off a hit.
Without knowing, the dude ran out from behind a corner and the bullet hit his head, winning the game, snabbing be an achievement, a helluva lot of friend request, and to top it off, someone posted the video of the whole thing.
best thing ever.

The sniper rifle in halo Reach has made no scoping so much easier then the previous halo games it almost sickening. The best I have done is when I no scoped a warthog driver as he was coming at me and then the gunner with 2 rapid fire shots! It was made all the better by the fact the warthog still splattered me even without a driver...
Not a sniper rifle, but there is no aiming reticule in Red Orchestra, so I was pretty pumped when I suddenly found myself ten meters away from an enemy with nothing but a bolt-action rifle that took several seconds to ready for a second shot and got him right in the throat before any of his reinforcements could show up. That moment was what really sold that game to me; it was a really desperate struggle for a couple of seconds, like the knife fight in the climactic shoot-out in Saving Private Ryan.
I once randomly no scoped a cloaked spy in 2-fort. Good times... Of course, his scout friend quickly put me down.
Bad Company 2... a guy was speeding by on a quad bike through the forest and I just took a blind shot at him, not expecting to hit him. Not only did I hit him, I killed him. With a headshot. My jaw dropped.
It kind of is. No scoping is not pointless as evidenced by the number of people in this thread who have had success with it. Sometimes it takes to long to look through the scope, especially in the heat of the moment. So your comment seems to serve no purpose except to talk shit to everyone in the thread. Afraid not. I only worked out how to use the whole theatre section recently and I did it about 2 weeks ago now. A real shame as it was so unintentionally hilarious that I couldn't play for a good 10 mins I was laughing so much.
Original CS scouts_knives took practice or tape, favorite map. Not really luck you gotta figure out where your shots are usually going for your monitor then adjust it so that person is there.
