When I randomly met this friend I hadn't seen for years in Melbourne and it turned out she'd become a lesbian since I last knew her. There you go! All the time I'd previously known her she didn't show any tendencies like that at all. She's still a lovely and wonderful person, I just didn't expect that one lol.
One that comes to mind is when I was walking back to my apartment after a night out with a few friends. There were another few people I didn't know strolling up with us that one of my friends had invited out.
I was just talking lazily with one of the lads (I was drunk and he was boring) when out of nowhere this guy vomits. This wasn't like a normal chunk spray however, this guy was practically screaming. I jumped and looked on in stunned horror, but that wasn't the wtf moment.
Just as soon as he had finished firing carrot bits at the nearby fence he turns and starts talking to me again, completely composed as if nothing had happened.

I was in Australia on holiday, walking along the beach back to my hotel when some random Dudes stop, Called me an F*cktard and drive on. That was kinda weird.
The next day I was doing the same thing and a Different car just throws a water over me ... Bloody Aussies.
Also when I was 13 a random homeless dude came up to us (a group of students on a trip) and asked us for our Pocket Money. Then he wandered off and harassed a Asian Couple. Then some cops showed up and it turned out he had a gun and some white powder in a bag (and a box of bullets for those interested). It was both weird and scary.

I have a lot of those moments in my life, so I will just choose the most recent event. My sister, who is thirty and teaches for a living, thought that the Somalian pirates were actually dressed up like the pirates from those awful Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Even as we started laughing she didn't figure it out. Funny and sad.
the most recent one for me. I went up to Las Lunas to visit this female. (that's weird enough in it's self) anyway. we're sitting in the back of her jeep chatting and some vatos drive by in a black Ford Pick-Up truck. They had Barbie girl blasting. and i don't mean it was loud. i mean You could hear it in the coldstones. anyone that grew up in the 90s knows this song and knows just how weird this is
I live in South Australia, driest capital city in the world (it's true look it up). During the recent rains (yes is is strange, most of us had forgotten what it was like) I was just leaving a major shopping centre and I walk out into the rain (those of you familiar with Marion in SA with know the Hungry Jacks exit/entrance) and I seriously heard a kid, who looked between 8-10 next to me ask his mum: "Mummy? What's that stuff falling from the sky?" Now THAT is a WTF moment! I guess you can forgive the kid cos we're having a 10 year drought... but Come on!
I was at university having lunch. I was standing in front of the Arts & Letters (Liberal Arts) building, eating a sandwich, when all of a sudden, some girl from Fine Arts comes running down towards me as if she was on fire or something, takes a bite out of my sandwich, and then runs off.
First things first, the Fine Arts building is literally on the other side of campus. Secondly, it takes a good 10-15 minutes to walk across campus. And third, WHAT THE F#%$!!!

The only one I remember was back a couple years ago. I was walking along with a couple friends and randomly one of them just screamed at the top of his lungs the word "Melon".
I never got an explanation of any kind, and I'm still scratching my head over it.

I was walking on campus, going to Marketing class, when out of nowhere a marginally attractive girl comes up to me. I say "Hi." She slaps the shit out of me and keeps walking. I'm about 95% sure I have never met her before.

Today somebody with the wrong number called. However the person they were aiming to call was somebody they were obviously trying to seduce.. O__o
And then the other day somebody else with the wrong number texted me followed by calling me when they weren't sure who I was... This was after I had told them they had the wrong number of course.
Finally, last year I was going to my sister in law's bachlorette party just before she married my brother. We pulled into a parking garage that was free and headed to the map so we could find the hotel we were headed towards. However we took a detour down the rabbit hole in Alice and Wonderland because we got on to an elevator. When the doors opened we walked down a long white hallway with one single LCD tv on the wall with the news on it.
My cousin and I joked over the freakyness of it and suddenly we appeared in a near empty hotel lobby with a guy sweeping a restaurant floor in dim lights.
Next to the side of that was a luxerious bathroom. However we still had to take another detour and a couple more elevators to find the hotel we wanted. It was beyond strange.

Some guy asked me in a club if I had any ecstasy. I don't touch drugs, although I'd possibly be willing to try weed (I am a university student after all), so I said to the guy "no, sorry, I don't do drugs". So he says "ah, alright then" and walks off. That was pretty bizzare, although I was drunk at the time so it wasn't really that WTF? afterwards. Otherwise, watching and reading Twilight to discover I actually liked the books and the film. To you guys that'll be a definite WTF? moment...
