I was being battered by a boss in WoW, as a 73 Belf DK, and was nearly dead, when a Human Pally, 74 strolls up, heals me, and saves the day. He then asks me for a friendly duel, so I accept, and we get to it, even though I knew full well I would lose (nothing beats a pally). But I had a plan in mind, and waited for the right time.
I saved all of my best attacks because they all have long cooldowns, so I avoided using them, and pretended to fight him like a total noob, until he had won. I relied on the courtesy that you heal the person you beat in a duel before healing yourself for my plan to succeed, and that's exactly what he did. I quickly buffed myself then silenced him before he had a chance to heal himself, then unleashed everything I could, sending his ass to the graveyard, and giving me honor points. Hurrah!
It sort of backfired though. I didn't camp him because he'd come back expecting that, so I got on my mount and fled. I didn't stop riding for 5 minutes, and then all of a sudden he appears behind me in the distance, of course, Paladins can have slightly faster mounts. At this rate, it would be another two minutes before he reached me, so I had time to think. I tried my HS, but it was on cooldown still. Couldn't use flying mount, because I wasn't high enough to get cold weather flying. What to do, what to do.... I brought my map up, and saw that about about a minute and a half's ride away there was a cliff edge I was being cornered to, and if I changed direction, he'd hain on me easily, so I just went for it.
About a minute or two later, he was within casting distance behind me, and I was 10 seconds away from the cliff edge. All it would take would be him to dismount me, and I'd be dead, and end up with a massive repair bill, because no doubt he'd camp me. I was just about to jump the cliff when a spell hit me, and I was dismounted, but I quickly silenced him with strangulate, and jumped off the cliff. He followed, but being a Death Knight, I had the ability to walk on water. I mounted up and fled on water, looking back to see him falling off the cliff, and splashing into the sea. I scouted the area to see how he would get back onto land, and he had a long swim ahead of him.
Then I turned into a real dick, within 10 minutes I had 5 guild members looking for him. Once he was found, we camped him for hours, killing him over and over again.
I don't even know why.
