Fable 3 was quite dissapointing. To be fair it was still compelling enough that I played through it but both it and Fable 2 just really fail to compare to Fable 1. Which I still rate as one of the games that I really loved back in the day.

I remember Fable 1 being a fun and descent action rpg with a nice sense of self irony and sense of humor about itself. Nowadays it feels more like a crummy life simulator with only the bits and pieces of an action RPG thrown together.

That said... it did have John Cleese. And that counts for something.

God of War 3, it wasn't that bad just nowhere near as good as God of War 2 was, even the first might be better.

New Vegas I guess. Only game I've bought in a long time at full price, and I just didn't end up playing it nearly as much as FO3.

That happened to me in 3 as well

The ending of Dragon Age II.

Things turned out they way they did only because EVERYONE in that ******* story made the worst possible decision in completely unbelievable circumstances.

It sucked for the same reason that the last act of the movie Babel sucked, there was some kind of message and purpose in there, but when all you're seeing is a cascade of idiocy and bad decisions, it's hard to really care about the suffering being inflicted.

A few months ago I would have said Fallout: New Vegas, but that franchise is dead and buried as far as I'm concerned.

Just Cause 2. Also my first ever preorder. While not a bad game, it gets boring quickly after completing the story, there's not much replayability. IMO the first one was better for that, because you could keep on playing to unlock safehouses, liberate areas etc.

Dragon Age II. I still love the game and everything about it, but

The fucking ENDING, man. Out of all the games to inspire an ending, BioWare went with Halo 2? Seriously, the cliffhanger is insane, and the reasoning for it is so much worse.

How the fuck did Hawke go missing? And why would they kick me in the balls by making my Warden go missing too? What are they building towards with this? There's some obvious looming threat but I really want to know what the hell is going on sooner rather than later.

I can't believe they had the sheer balls to do this.
They found a mass relay in the Deep Roads and now are gone to help Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 3. Joking aside, after playing DA2, I wouldn't be surprised...

OT:
This year: Dragon Age 2 sadly.
Last: Aliens vs Predator, Bioshock 2 (I was expecting too much from it), Arcania: Gothic 4 (total disaster), Alpha Protocol.

Dragon Age 2

It just feels so.. mediocre. The combat is even more boring then in Dragon Age: Origins, I've spent hours doing stupid MMO-like quests like it's fucking World of Warcraft, except without the interesting lore and people to share the experience with, the dialogue wheel combined with a voiced main character utterly destroyed any immersion that there was to be had and it all just feels so.. bland. Most of the companions are also about as interesting as rocks are to me. Just.. bleeeeeigh. All in my opinion and experience, of course.

I haven't even played Dragon Age 2 but I realised some bad shit was coming and I didn't know whether it came in DA2 or even a DA3. You kinda cemented the fact for me. I realised whilst playing the Witch Hunt DLC.
Major Spoiler/DA conspiracy theory Ahead:
Apparently Flemeth whether or not you kill her as a Grey Warden in DA survives somehow and is going for something worse than the Darkspawn threat ever was. Also Morrigan telling this to my Grey Warden made him actually show some emotion. He did a 'Oh Shit' face as soon as he heard this news. Plus its coming from Morrigan who A) Saved my ass, B) Is actually really reliable and friendly after she becomes your friend and C) Probably the smartest person I met in the game. Yes, Loghain can go jump off a cliff. No matter what people or he says to try and justify what he did, he still was a idiot. Also I kinda regret not killing him when he met me at Vigil's Keep and acted all friendly but was sneering at me the same time as if he could see what was coming. Though he did give me a second frenzy and 60 gold sovereigns but that kinda paled in comparison to my 610 gold and dual wield awesome blades. But back onto Morrigan. She obviously wants to use the child you may or my not have had with her to help the world in the future but she also has something else aside from that to do as she made clear before going through the Eluvian. She also left me a book. I wish I got to see what was in it... Anyway back to how this connects to the future of DA. Flemeth in DA2 gives you a amulet anddddd thats as much as I know about DA2. I really need to play the game to guess but I'm thinking All the major characters from both DA and DA2 will return in DA3 except for those that died from various things and Flemeth will end up being the antagonist of the game. Thats what I think anyway. [sub]I wished my warden could have followed Morrigan into the Eluvian...[/sub]

Anyway onto my contribution. Bulletstorm. You had an amazingly fun SP but the obvious cliffhanger at the end coupled with my impatientness cause me to feel let down by you. Also your MP had to be more broad. Yes 4-player Anarchy mode is fun when the connection is good and people work together but it would have been even better if there had been competitive gamemodes alongside it. (e.g. deathmatch, TDM, blow shit up match, etc.)

Also AC and their cliffhangers. Especially AC:B, I want to know what happened to
Lucy
dammit.

I just finished that, i think i was about to punch my computer. Shit was just getting awesome, leliana shows up, circles are rebelling, the worlds gone more crapsackish then Origins, and whats biowares answer? Credits, its a ballsy move, and an annoying one, i can only hope that they make up for it with DA3

Dragon Age 2 can grab itself by the #¤%%& and run back under the Bioware-rock that it crawled from.

I'm at the second act without seeing even the hint of an endgame plot.
