the "would you kindly" part in Bioshock was probably one of the best twists in an FPS game in a long time.

This. The first time I saw that I thought "Holy shit! Didn't see that coming."

The "would you kindly" moment had some impact, but as long as we're talking about shock, the "reveal" in Dead Rising left me gaping at the sheer stupidity. It was far more of a "You can't be serious" moment than anything epic, of course. The reveal in KotOR came as a shock to me, but Jade Empire ended up encompassing a little more mindfuckery overall:

Did you not watch the after-credits bit with the ship and Chief going to sleep while drifting toward civilization? That seemed just fine as an ending to me.

Most of Silent Hill 2 was a 'oh snap!' moment for me, specially when you first see Pyramid Head...
Dead Space had a nice twisty ending, and of course the Bioshock twist was awesome and crushing at the same time...

In Jade Empire, when your Master betrays you. well, to be fair, it wasn't a complete, but when it happened, and when I learned of the truth behind my adoption, I was devastated.

P.S. Has anybody here ever succeeded in turning him around in the game with dialogue? Is it even possible? Because there's an [Intuition] option at some point, put my attempts always end in failure.

Mine personally is the "Would you Kindly?" moment in Bioshock. I will never forget it ever. I couldn't get enough of that whole scene it was amazing. I loved it


Fallout: Getting to go back into vault 101

A) I also thought that moment in Bioshock was amazing. I went back through and analyzed everything after it.

B) You can get back into Vault 101? I just got the game, and after 20+ hours of playing I'd always really hoped for that option, but it never happened. So...wut.
