Talking trains were my favourite thing in my childhood.

Same here. I kept watching this show until I was eight, and unlike half the other shows I used to watch it hasn't lost its charm. Well, the new series has by GETTING RID OF THAT THEME SONG AND MAKING IT ALL CGI.

I was OBSESSED with this song when I was a child. My father was a hard-core Van Halen fan, and I grew up on stuff like this. I used to sit in the back seat of the car, singing with my dad at the top of my lungs. I still find the tune rather catchy.

(Ironically enough, at age 15 my mother asked if I worshiped Satan, and insisted I see a therapist.)

See if you can find the vocal only track of that song, Diamond Dave screeching and howling is hilarious.
