Talking trains were my favourite thing in my childhood.

Same here. I kept watching this show until I was eight, and unlike half the other shows I used to watch it hasn't lost its charm. Well, the new series has by GETTING RID OF THAT THEME SONG AND MAKING IT ALL CGI.

Wait, wait wait.... They changed the theme song?!
....

Unfortunately... listen.

What?!?!?!?!?! How dare they change the theme song to my favorite childhood show. This almost officially ruins my childhood. Not quite though, a lot of these posts are things I remember and loved too.
