Anyone want to share a game that you decide to play just to relax you? Y'know, after something like a decent Amnesia session or after a few online games of Skullgirls in which Squigly does Squigly things and fucking kills you in about 15/20 seconds flat because everyone can do the three quarter health combo all of a sudden.

[sub][sub]That shit forced me to pick up obnoxious keepaway master Peacock, I hope you're happy online community[/sub][/sub]

Mine is oddly enough DOTA 2. Just one or two late night games, no wait come back hear me out. It's because I play so much League that I enjoy playing another MOBA where I seriously do not have to care. Despite having to endure the clunky controls, I can instalock whoever I like, go in whatever lane I like, can spend 5 minutes staring at items I have no idea what to do with and I generally enjoy the spectacle of your average teamfight.

It's the novelty I think. Oh this map is so different, oh what does that character do? Oh this character looks cool let's play her! Oh everyone has so much range! Fuck... I was so out, fuck you Sniper.

Current instalock hero is Death Prophet. Ult and spend 30 seconds admiring all 27 banshees you have unleashed upon the map. (21 or 27, the extra 6 from Witchcraft stacks with the 21 at lvl 16 I assume) I have a thing for summoned pets you see, so twenty fucking seven of them is awesome.

Oh and a question to any regular DOTA 2 players, does anyone know why my character occasionally decides to walk in the complete opposite direction as I want her to? Want to walk out of tower range? No I think you wanted to walk slightly further back into tower range, look puzzled then finally get going in the right direc-dead lol

No it's not because i'm accidentally clicking on the UI, i'm new to the characters and map not standard movement controls.

Also total retard question here, but is it worth burning ult for Roshan? My team kind of gave me shit for it... Inb4 it's fuckin' magic immune or something.

My chill game is... sorta chill.
Solforge. I am loving the hell outta this game... when the heart of the cards is on my side. Sometimes, it isn't, and then it isn't fun. Sometimes it is, and life is good. It's pretty much the first time I've had to put real thought into how I build a deck, basing it around two or three concepts, so if one strategy doesn't pan out I can switch to another mid-game. More than once, I've made comebacks at a quarter health. Also, I've been steamrolled a few times by people who buy the most powerful cards.
*insert short rant about pay-to-win and ridiculously expensive micro-transactions*

Like I said, sorta chill.

Magic DotPW. I only got the 2014 [sic] version which was probably a mistake as everyone seems to say the 2013 one was better, but anyway. It's just a nice chilled way to spend a few hours.

I swear I don't understand a single thing in your posts. Way too much DOTA lingo for me. Anyways my chill game would be Bayonetta. Despite the fact that it is hectic as fuck I still find it relaxing to play.

I don;t...think I actually have anything like that. Haha.
I'm more or less always "in the game" so to speak. I don't think I can relax in that way while playing. That's probably how I feel right before I call it a night.

Closest I have to something like that is probably either Spore or Minecraft. But even those can get me riled up.

It varies with what I have and what I feel like. For now it's Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Last week it was Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Come Oct 4, it'll be The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. Come November 22, it'll be The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

I only just got back into Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate after a break. Captured a Brachydios on my very, very first ever fight with one. Feelsgoodman. Especially when you get a Brachydios Gem. ;D

Actually playing through GTA:SA again now that GTA is talked about so much, needed a reminder why this used to be my very favorite series.

Farcry 3. When is comes to taking over a outpost, I can juggle how insane or how much I want to use a flame thrower. Skyrim will take a play in this but that child immunity think kills me

Either Saints Row 3 or Scribblenaughts, the only game that lets you feed babies to cannibals.

Reccetear. It is so relaxing! Tending to my shop, hanging out with my friends or crawling through dungeons filled with chibi monsters and happy-go-lucky music.

Oddly enough, Dark Souls.

At this point, I have enough experience under my belt to be able to make overpowered characters without much problem, so blasting through the game is not impossible. Plus, I've pretty much memorised the layout and enemy placement of all areas.

I found a great little free downloadable game called Boson X, I just try to get a highscore on the first level because the last two levels are far from relaxing, but I do recommend downloading it.
Off topic: Is Skullgirls a good buy? I've only played SF4 with friends with a PS3 controller, and I'm pretty horrible at combos (I'm an oldschool button smasher) EDIT: I deleted the quote because I can't seem to get it to work properly on this tablet.

Path of Exile, I guess. Mowing down dozens of enemies in a few seconds is a fairly cathartic experience for me. The ocasional danger or desync just spices it up, so it doesn't become boring. The soundtrack and the darker graphic tones also give me the "chills" now and then.

For the first bit, could be lag. Your hero got aggro'd into tower range before your command registered. That's the most likely possibility. Also, could be your hero's turning animation.

As for ulting Roshan, depends. Roshan does have 75% magic damage reduction, but DP's ult is physical. If you're trying to smash it down in a hurry, go ahead, just try not to engage until it's off cooldown. If there's no threat of the other team coming over though, save it so you can push immediately after.

OT: I usually load up LoL to cool off. Mechanics are simpler, and because I don't play it often, I get matched up with scrubs. I've only had one loss so far I think.

Or, I join a Dota 2 or HoN bot game. 1v5 against bots is no problem, kinda fun actually.
