There's probably been a topic like this before, but I couldn't find it in 20 pages of topics so I decided to make a new one.
Although classes are nonexistent in Skyrim and all your skills can be raised to 100 eventually, a lot of the power is in picking the perks. So what skills will you focus on, and which race will you choose?
In my first playthrough I will be a Breton (mainly for the magic resistance). My main skills will be Destruction, Illusion, Restoration, Enchantment, One-Handed, Light Armour and Smithing.
I'll probably play these skills as a battlemage, with a sword in one hand and a fireball in the other. (Frost magic is likely to be less useful in Skyrim because of all the ice-based enemies) And I'll make my own weapons and armour then enchant them because I liked enchantment in Oblivion (casting Soul Trap is a chore, though).
