I don't know what kind of desks you guys have... all I got there that is out of the ordinary is three issues of Green Lantern since I just bought them and don't have space on my regular comic shelf yet and my EMT training pass because I've got a workshop due in a few days and else I'll surely forget to take it with me.

Other than the obvious (monitor, phone etc) my work desk only has 1 item of interest...A Jack Skeleton Bobblehead - it keeps me entertained for hours.

My desk has some loose hard drives laying around, a few papers and cds, and a big lego model of a Corellian Corvette. Oh, and a bust of Geralt of Rivia.
Othen than my computer, 2 water bottles, glasses (don't wear them while on computer), wallet, blark marker (now why is that here? fixed.), earphones and an old cellphone I need to throw away, but always manage to forget to take it.
Three external HDDs, an unread copy of Dune that's been staring me down for several years, my notebook, my iPod, my phone, a fetching hat, a... Sorry, a...
Anyway, a copy of Scott Pilgrim volume six that I've been about to start reading for two days now, and my friend's cat.
He just sort of hangs out here.

Currently this desk just as a computer, standard comp accessories and such... A copy of Heat (the film) on top of the tower and thats about it really. The one I usually use (upstairs) is jam packet with games, dvds, Warhammer figures, bunch of collectables and my video camera.

OT: My phone, a 500GB portable hard-drive, a headset mic, an Open University textbook on plant physiology, a 4B Faber-Castell pencil, a box of Twinings Lemon & Ginger teabags, a wireless mouse, an orange Dunlop plectrum, a passport photo of myself and the netbook I'm typing this on.
The desk itself is light pine, with two drawers, a keyboard dock..thing and some space underneath the drawers where I keep shoes.
Now I feel like I'm suffering from stereotypical Asperger's.
Let's see... a Locust figurine, some game cases, a lego plane-car (I think) that my little cousin made, some books, a crappy lamp, a nerf gun, and my lucky stormtrooper keychain.
1 light-up slinky, 1 Heavy Rain origami swan, and 1 Alex action figure from Street fighter. Everything else is completely uninteresting.
My desk has my PS3 on it, 36 PS2 games in racks on it, some books, a model tarantula that I made out of polymer clay, and random use-everyday crap like my wallet, phone, keys, etc. It's also straining and slightly buckled over too many comics in the drawers.
