I actually went through RE4 and counted how many different ways I could die. (Don't remember the number). There's also this one part where you're supposed to choose one path, but it's possible to go through one then the other. I did that with the Typewriter just to get my kill count up.

Then there's also the random shit my bro and I do together on RE5. My favorite being the part on the raft where you have to dodge the crocodile, and whoever's on the crank just keeps saying "GO!...GO!...GO!"

Playing Resident Evil to Island In The Sun by Weezer. ...It's pretty cracked out. (doesn't work as well with 4 and 5)

As far as playing a game how it wasn't intended? I played Penumbra like a run and gun. ... It actually worked out really well....if you really cut down on the "gunning" part. It was after I beat it mind you, already did my fair share of pants wetting.

Killing Ashley over and over on RE4 is always an enjoyable past time for me.

But, Morrowind.... I went on an epic mission to collect every pillow in the land and also to kill every cliff racer in the game despite knowing full well they was respawning... I fucking hate cliff racers.

Assassin's Creed II. Play through it without killing anyone aside from assassination targets. Kind of hard to do at first but once you get the hang of it you feel like friggin Batman or something, disarming them then laying the smack-down with your fists (When they "die" they roll about on the floor in pain, rather than actually be dead).

Imagine a Batman costume in Assassins Creed......

After the 2nd or 3rd time beating any Metal Gear Solid game I usually give up pretending like I'm a super sneaky commando and just go in all G.I. Joe style making as much noise as possible and shooting at everything that moves.

It's surprisingly effective.
