^ What the title says, basically games that you wish existed.

Sandbox Survival Game, IE if I'm Legend + Minecraft had babies this would be it, but in a sandbox setting that could be played in Co-op. Takes place in various post apocalyptic environments, where you have to scavenge for food/items and combine various items to create objects.

MMOFPS, Basically what Dust 514 is + Eve online, except if you know, Eve was actually fun to play (Haha no offense but I seriously tried to like it, I'll just point to Yahtzee's review for my opinion on it). Say you can have multiple people in a cruiser, manning the various systems or drop from space unto a Planet ODST style. I'm really really really hoping this is what Project Titan is from Blizzard.

A game that plops you, a random civilian without any kind of training, into the zombie apocalypse. The focus, however, would be on survival rather than combat. The idea would be to make every single encounter with a zombie (especially multiple zombies) something that could potentially be very costly. Infection would definitely have to be possible; in my game the PC would not be the "only one who can perform fetch quest X, Y and Z because you're immune". Hunger and thirst would play a major role, so scavenging would be a primary focus. I would prefer it if access to ammunition were very limited, even late game, leaving the player character to rummage through hardware stores and garages to find a means of personal defense. Noise would also have to be treated somewhat realistically. Discharging a firearm would have to attract zombies so shooting near your "safehouse" or wherever you're bunking at the time would be ill advised.
...

I could go all day with this; but, the short of it is, I crave a game set in the zombie apocalypse but with a focus on survival rather than combat. I would want a game that has strong characterization, where you build a sense of fraternity with the other survivors you meet. And above all, I want the game to be about scavenging and surviving after society crumbles. Gathering food, gathering water, maintaining body heat, scavenging for medical supplies, etc.

Legend of Mana, but with a lot more stuff. More story routes, more side missions, monsters, weapons, NPCs, everything.

Online multilayer shooter:

Everything that makes Soldat awesome in an FPS. Fast movement speeds paired with aerial acrobatics and big explosions resulting in hilarious flamey chunks rag dolls. Head shots blow heads off and they bounce off polygons. A high powerd sniper rifle will blow you in half and still retain enough bullet damaege to pass into other targets. Bullet ricochets. If hit by a rocket I want to see a shape charge explosion blasting through the player and vaporize him. I want fast projectile speeds and powerful weapons and low health. I want a high degree of player movement with a rocket boots or something similar with the ability to alter your trajectory once airborne and rocket across the sky to doge attacks/attack players. There should be enough freedom of movement to allow players to develop their own movement and play styles. Pretty much FPS Soldat.

Tribes Acend is fast but the weapons are slow, players have too much health and it doesn't have the level of mobility I'd like to see.

A good 4x strategy space game:

Galactic Civilizations with some extra engines shoehorned in. I would like to create my own race, civilization, ship designs and fleets with the ability to go from turn based to RTS during ship combat. As it is now with Galactic Civs games the player is only able to watch ship battles and planet invasion through a combat viewer. I'd rather see a RTS engine kick in instead. To take it further, I'd like the ability to take control of a unit in an RTS battle through a FPS or 3rd PS engine.

mine wouldnt be a game as such but more a set of very easy to use development tools that allowed anyone to create any game they wanted and could possibly conceive with ease and no programming knowledge required. It would be released as freeware.

Basically GTA IV, but with zombies. Rockstar, why can't we have an Undead Nightmare themed DLC for GTA IV? Will you have one for GTA V? You should, because then I would erect a colossal statue in your honor.
A whole game with the zombies or just welcome addition to a GTA game? Saints row 3 has zombies and they are there for some poorly contrived reason in the story but really are there so the player can have some sandbox zombie killing fun.

A sandbox game with the wackiness of Saints Row: The Third and the size and scope of Just Cause 2 with 1080p graphics. Oh and it should feel like a real world like GTA IV does. SR3 is too sparse.

There's a game like that in alpha stage. Project Zomboid [http://projectzomboid.com/blog/]. If you're interested you should look the forum because the website isn't really up to date.

A game that is not an rpg but has element similar to a few rpgs, like zelda meets the blue gems from shadows of the damned. Also the overworld would be super sparse like wind waker however it would be even bigger and it would be a desert with a dieselpunk motorcycle instead of a boat in the ocean.

Rather than there being a lot of fighting and combat there would be things like capturing bounties alive and escorting convoys. The map would not have any sort of big you are hear arrow or waypoints, you would have to use a compass, landmarks and tracking skills to find your way around. On top of driving there is of course normal travel, but it wouldn't just be running around, it would mix elements of parkour with climbing and combat similar again to zelda mixed with devil may cry.

Okay well here is my pitch on the Fable 2 I would like to have seen and still do heh.

The game cosmetically would have a very Pixar cartoony art style, with lush exaggerated environments (though progressing as you moved on to more dark and grim) while thematically it would be quite dark. Like Fable 1, except only more focused and no farting.

And game play wise it would be an amalgamation of exploration, plat forming and role-playing.
Instead of the game world having its? two feet almost firmly planted in reality while dipping its? fingers in the fantasy from time to time I would flat out baptize it in fantasy but in keeping with Fables established lore and exploring and building upon it (so no Orcs and Elves) while also adding some elements from the Grim fairy tales as well. So yeah at one point you might be confronted by a malicious child eating big bad wolf.

As for choice effects, those pretty much are a defining feature of Fable.

So I would keep the morphing but instead of getting blond hair and a Halo for each paragon choice and a little devil horn for each dastardly act your character committed, your actions this time would instead affect your characters age which obviously would affect his appearance as well.

Your character would start out a happy innocent wide eyed boy.

Play the game generally as a nice morally sound person your character will maintain his age.
But;
Go down the darker road (not saying evil) and your character will steadily age and grow up into a hardened cynical 20 something year old and I am sure you know what that is symbolizing so I won?t bother saying it.

And of course along the way you would collect a small cast to go along with you.

So pretty much...Metroid meets Diablo meets well.. Fable meets a Bioware RPG and maybe some Dark souls (Easy? Bahahahahahaha!!).

Story...well the game isn?t made nor is it going to be so I haven?t really thought anything else out other than locations and the basic set up.

The game would start off with your character training in the heroes? guild, we get to meet some colourful characters then oh no he is woken up in the middle of the night and made aware that people are standing outside the guild with pitchforks and torches. Yes this is the civilian revolt described in Fable 2 even though this game would be meant as a retcon to Fable 2 and 3.

You and a few others are lead out by your mentor. Along the way the other students get separated and your mentor sees you to safety before being confronted by a bunch of angry folk. Does he live? Die? Who knows yet.

So there you are out in the cold unkown world. Confused, alone, with such power inside and no guidance. What to do? Confused and distraught by the atrocity you have just been a victim of. Not even knowing a reason why such a horrendous fate has befallen you and your beloved friends and home.
Why would the people revolt? The heroes were like the Jedi of Albion? Having only the best intentions for the people and land.
Protecting it against the things people would simply dismiss as nothing more than nightmares that could only exist in the mind of man. Hmmm... Something stinks gang and it?s not the fish.

So yeah there is one of my dream games heh. Thanks for making the thread and allowing us to spew all this out.

So... Many... Zombie games... D:

OT: It would be an epic action-RPG trilogy, on par with Mass Effect. It would take place in late 19th century/early 20th century. You would serve as a bodyguard for a lord in the first game. The lord is investigating suspicious, occult activities that occur in the British Empire. You also happen to be semi-immortal (in the same vain as Wolverine), so you are trying to figure out why that is. You eventually uncover a plot to summon the Old Ones that unfolds over the 3 games. All of the choices you make in each game carry over to the next, ala Mass Effect, but you actually have a tangible effect on the story, ala Alpha Protocol and The Witcher.

The game takes place from a 3rd person perspective, and you can shoot, brawl, magic, avoid via exploration, sneak, or talk your way through any situation. Shooting is typical 3rd-person, cover based. Brawling plays like the recent Batman games, with a little bit of Devil May Cry once you get powerful enough. You can use magic spells to aid you; either preset ones or, once you get skilled enough, ones you make yourself. The typical trappings of an RPG exist, leveling up, inventory, equipment, skill/ability trees, the whole shebang. The game is hub-based, semi free-roaming. The hubs themselves can be very large, and are numerous. Dialogue plays like Deus Ex: HR.

That is my current dream game.

My is pretty much the ultimate mmorpg/ rpg game. The game exist both offline and online mode and there is no cons being offline other than having AIs. The game is both fantasy and futuristic (time travel is involve) and there will be tons of armours, weapons, loots and minigames to choose from.

if animal crossing had enough content to last a lifetime, that'd pretty much be it right there. i don't like strife, violence or competition. i like cooperation, minigames, easter eggs, collecting, gardens; stuff like that.

I want a devil may cry style action game with a heavy focus on realistic martial arts. Ad a custom fighting style builder and a elder scrolls "use it to build it" level up system and you have a pretty tight little game. A multi to pit your custom fighter against others would be cool but hard to balance.

A space naval combat simulator, where fleets are built around what ship class you chose, which dictates your role in combat. Players who prove themselves as good tacticians get promoted to flagships, which then coordinate entire battle strategies.

Multiplayer Grand Theft Auto 4 with zombies replacing civilians. The police actually help you this time.

Battlefront 3. YEAH I SAID IT.
