an open world survival game with a bunch of zombies of different varieties that is set in a post apocalyptic city that has sky scrapers, suburbs, a forest, and the ocean nearby. the emphasis would be more on survival and while there would be guns in the game there would be limited ammo

i would want the game to be open in the fact that there are no "enemies" (besides zombies) so that every interaction with an NPC is random: they could be hostile, they could run, they could be defensive, they could be kid(s)... i want to capture the survival aspect so that every time you play you get a different experience. IE you might sneak up on two people scrounging for supplies and you can introduce yourself, kill them and steal their things, leave them alone, try and steal their things without them noticing, follow them back to their home and steal from them and then possibly kill them in their sleep... i want the players morality to be their only limitation. this game would be about exploring yourself

have it so you can found a group of survivors that work together, maybe be able to form a small colony and manage it, lone wolf the game, or anything the person wants. there is no real story, this allows time to develop realistic characters in-game so i feel the NPC could be real people. if they want a story just have a militaristic group role in with an agenda and give the player the option to join, kill, or avoid them

for different difficulty settings you could have different spawn locations with easy mode having you spawn as a doomsday guy who had prepared for the end of the world beforehand and on hard you could have your player be from out of town and not speak a word of the local language (you could make up symbols to replace all text in game) and start in some public place (like an airport) that just so happens to be the location of the initial infection

i want a game where i feel i built a group of survivors, that i am leading that group and making life or death decision, and that i feel bad when one of them dies or if i have to sacrifice one of them for the greater good of the group. i want kids in the game (and kid zombies) and they can be killed (this is a game about self exploration after all. what good would it be if it didnt push the limits)

finally, the game only ends when you die and i think it should let you see yourself become a zombie and have you (uncontrollably) kill whoever is left in your group and then have you stumbling off into the sunset with a panning out showing you are just a member of a large horde, simultaneously emphasizing that you are not special and that every zombie had a story thus humanizing the horde

I long to drink deeply of an aspect. I am lovingly of the bitter persuasion, thus cannot wish for better lives. And even though those are the words of my pet mermaid, I can never return what I have never stolen.

I would like to see a sword dueling. Silimar to the idea of fighting games except it's 3d. I would like it to be very well detailed and non arcade (one good hit). Where things like balance/footwork(stance), blocking & hitting location (you can't just hold a block button), weapon weight & shape as well as your character would change your style. Environment would be the last important thing. If you jump on a log or fence your balance would need more work and your footwork limited. If you're fighting on sand it effects your stance. If you cut a rope what is it connected to? how does it effect that object. Environmently dangers would be all over some maps.

that sounds... intricate. i dont think there are enough keys on a keyboard for that kind of accuracy

My dream games would be two fold. ONE is some form of Dungeons and Dragons game using the Gladius game system. Minigames and all.Especially its co-op ability as it was on xbox.

Two would be a true super hero rpg. No i dont mean like xmen legends or like marvel ultimate alliance. Im talking you create your character from scratch. You start off using horrible looking gear unless you choose like a resources perk or something that gives you access to more starting cash. end up making a bruce wayne type or tony stark type. Then you go out do patrols.Stumble onto the plot that way and continue on. leveling abilities or skills as you go. end up with a nemesis that continues to plague you till the end of the game where you finally send him to jail for good or kill him if you choose to be an anti-hero like the punisher.
Your actions would cause people in the world to treat you different. saving people and such people would treat you as a hero. even the police.Kill criminals and such and people start to fear you and the cops want to arrest you and other such. you could even have equipment obtained thru research or finding it in some villains lair and such. Would be freakin awesome.

Now that i think of it i would love a number of games like naruto,dbz, and such to include a character creation system so you could have your own storyline or whatever. just a thought

1) A dead island game with good NPC characterization and a morality system where you choose to save or leave people who are infected. Saving them (finding the cure) makes the game harder and longer (because doing the right thing is never easy, a problem I always had with bioshock).

2)Deus Ex HD

3)A space sim combat game

4)A COD game where instead of terrorists/zombies, you go around shooting COD-haters, tea bagging their corpses, and shoving dumbed down versions of their favorite games down their pretentious throats. (I kid, but seriously those people annoy me so much)

This sounds like an improved version of bushido blade actually

I'm sure there would be enough. You just wouldn't be able to make a practical layout. Seems like it's the only reason why this game hasn't been make yet. Well Dekuton pointed out a game close to my idea. It lacks the balance and foot work which makes my idea so complex.

I looked into it. Silimar. I would make you slower to start running and returning to stance to stop the sprint around them slash into the back. Unless you choose the smallest weapon in the game.

I would love to see a new Punisher game with a Ennis story ( a mix of his MAXline would be great) and voiced by T.Jane.

A mix of an open world for gathering information like finding informants, following criminals and leads up to detailed strike zones. You could study enemy movement, lay traps, stash weapons, make sure there are no civilian casulties after that go in guns blazing. Some of the locations would be good for furhter leads (developing story) while others are there for quick fun.
The open world also allows car chases (mafia ambushes or police) and random encounters like dealing thugs or armed robbery. There is a day and night circle which is important for npc interaction.

The planning-, preperation-part could be optional (for those who just want to shoot) and sometimes it`s just not available because of story related reasons. The planning part could turn out rewarding since you get to locations, clues, backround storybits, persons and other stuff which would be lost otherwise.

The game allows the switch between third and first person anytime. There would be gruesome violence in the firefights and closekills. There`s always the option to grab a enemy and interrogate. Within interrogations you decide if you believe it or if you ask again (it could be a trap). The thugs with something to say aren`t marked. If you killed the wrong one your loss (preperation, planning) and you `ve to get the clues somewhere else (in some cases the next lead could be lost).

The over the top stuff would be left out(this isn`t MarvelKnights). There are roleplaying elements since not everyone is a criminal and Frank has to be carefull how he aproaches npcs to get the wanted information.

The whole game features great art design with latest animation and physic engines. Can`t decide if i want something similar to Darkness 2, Borderlands 1-2 or graphics like the gci movies from the last volition Punisher (a heck it`s optional anyway you can switch it anytime).

There`s full modding support.


My next would be set in a post apocalyptic world but i already wasted enough space with my Punisher fanboystuff.
