Therapist. There are so many folks out there that have really serious problems, and I wish I could be the guy they go to for help, the one who solves their problems, or at least helps them with their problems.
What are you doing here, I thought we had a thing going and now I see you over here?

I had a serious response to the thread's topic, unlike you apparently.

I'd love to be a director of films or something along that lines. But I'd almost rather be a professional fiction writer.
Both unlikely, but a kid can dream...

Well, I'd like to be a systems analyst/software engineer with enough time for indie game development on the side. More probably, though, I'll end up a network administrator or something, because with this program my school offers, I can get m CCNP for free while I'm in High School, then get hired by the college hosting the class right out of High School. Then I can make money right out of school, save up enough money, then go all out and hop on a plane headed to(somewhere close to) Moscow!

So yeah, systems analyst/software engineer in Russia... That's my dream.

Well you know, one of my friends from high school is in film school right now, and another has sent out one of his novels to publishers. So, it doesn't have to be a dream necessarily.

Two things, either one would make me perpetually happy.

1> Professional novelist. If I can write books, and sell them, while making enough to earn a decent living while maintaining a reasonable lifestyle, that's enough for me. If I can pay the bills, afford groceries, and buy 1 new game a month, I'd be happy. Although, getting along as a writer is nigh-impossible, according to everyone I talk to. So I expect to spend a lot of time doing odd-jobs and quasi-careers before this dream becomes a reality, if at all.

2> Coffee Shop Owner. The weird part? I really don't like coffee all that much. I just love the smell, the atmosphere, and the general "at-ease" nature of the place. Imagine a work place where the most stressful object in the entire office is a phone ringing quietly on a counter. If I could afford to do this, it'd be all I would do. I'd work the entire day, open to close, if I had to.

A radio host would be cool. I can already imagine myself screaming "Awhooooo!" like Three Dog in Fallout 3.

Being paid to be a beta tester would be nice too.

Yeah, but I'm still a little wary of going into that field, especially with the job market the way it is. It's just not a safe bet, you know?

sneaky, how soon is soon? im 15 right now.

oh and since I turn 16 in a month which is before little league. im hoping to co-manage like a 6 or 8 year olds team ahah
At least by 18, I mean it's not gonna kill you if you skip out working at the YMCA(or similar place) but for sports management the more experience you have the better, as it is a limited field (not like accounting or logistics where you can chose many dif job types) So jobs are scarce and the competition for them is quite tough.

It also helps if you do some networking with people, IE get to know people that work in the field (at college's or minor league teams or whatnot) because it helps in breaking into sports mgmt if you ride in on the backs of others already in.

But if your like me you will get into college and change your major ( I found so much stuff I never knew I liked) I always looked towards the financial side of business but found I love logistics, and information management.

So you have time to figure it all out no worries.

Pornstar, easily.

Get paid to have a big dick, have sex with beautiful women, and hold cult idol status among nerds.

I'm not kidding, btw. If I had the dick to do it I would.

You also forgot having the immense hatred of every real actor, as well as likely never having a truly healthy commitment to another woman. Oh, and the part where, if you screw up, every 'nerd' on the planet Earth (and likely Yavin IV) will see it.

Porn star, superhero, assassin, doctor, writer or inheritance multimillionaire.

At least 4 of the six are currently possible for me.

You have to realize, movies and fiction actually bet better as the job market gets worse. People go to see movies to relieve their stress over the crap in their real life. So as the economy gets worse, the movies get better.

Write Stories and scenarios For video games. I always wanted to make them but I found learning to program horrific yet I possess a Prodigous grasp of the English language and a Cyclopean Vocabulary.
