As Wolfram01 said, I hate sports games but NHL 10 is so fun with friends.

Also, I really despise turn-based strategy games. RPGs, ok. Strategy? Wth... But then Fire Emblem happened, and it's one of my best memories of my Gameboy Advance.

Blazblue is one of the few times I'll actually buy a conventional fighter (as opposed to SSB-style fighter). Also, I generally dislike racing games, but Mario Kart is great fun, and the DS version is one of the three mandatory games on the system (along with Phoenix Wright and Elite Beat Agents).

I hate Mini games, I especially hate games that are entirely composed of mini games and time sinks... Yet I love me some Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball.

I imagine that has absolutely nothing to do with the gameplay, though (shit, ninja'd).

OT I'll echo the people that have already said Mario Kart, also Portal because I really can't be bothered to play any other puzzle games.

I'm not a big fan of RTSs but I like Warcraft 3. Also for turn based strategy I like some of the Fire Emblem games.

Eh... I like most genres. There's a few one I don't play, like (realistic) flightsims, but theres not really an exception there.

Closest thing I have would be that I don't really like jRPGs, however I like the old ones (Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI etc).

Yeah, I generally dislike most racing games, but the last one that I played and thoroughly enjoyed had to be Need for Speed: Underground.

I don't know why, but, it was just so much better than any other racing games I've played.

I got two for the price of one, in Team Fortress 2 - I generally don't care for FPS and I hate online multiplayer, but that game was all kinds of fun.

Same for me. I love that game so much, which is strange because of my dislike of most FPS (admittedly Valve is an exception) and my dislike of competitive multiplayer.

I'm not a huge fan of RTSs, but Starcraft 2 looks absolutely amazing. The original Starcraft ate soooo much of my childhood.

I have a strong dislike for FPSs, but I will play Perfect Dark, any day. If it counts as an FPS, I will also play Twisted Metal 3 (I know it's categorized as "vehicular combat" but whatever... you're a car instead of a person).

RTS, card/boardgames and manymany sports games are a pretty much guaranteed miss...

I used to hate FPS games, but I bought Call of Duty: World at War because most of my friends at school had done so already. I must say that CoD:WaW had brought me back to FPS games, and even online multiplayer (something else I used to care little about).

That's why it's so upsetting that Modern Warfare 2 almost completely reversed my outlook on FPS and online multiplayer. Can't stand playing people online with that game; it's all grenade launchers and killstreak rewards...

Thank god Borderlands came along and saved me! Absolutely love that game; too bad it feels so short-lived...more expansions please!

I hate (HATE) sports games. (HATE HATE HATE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE!!!)

The only sports games that I will even allow into my house are Racing games (like Gran Tarismo or NFS) and Snowboarding sports games (At least, SSX III: Out of Bounds and SSX: On Tour).


Edit: Did I mention that I HATE sports games? Because I do. A lot.
