Was inspired to make this by a post in another thread...

My own favorite is the hidden area north of Takoma industrial with the sad little story that happened there and the exposition you discover hidden on a computer.

Also Rivet city from the outside at nightime is gorgeous.

Little Lamplight.

For some reason, I would always feel better after visiting that cavern full of kids (for me I always thought of them a somthing of the wastelends future, and also I just loved talking to McCredy, its funny hearing a kid swear more than any of the other characters in the game)

There are so many it's hard to choose just one, I'll go with Arlington cemetary, that place at sun-set will make you cry it's so hauntingly beautiful.

Oasis, I loved there, or I love Vault 92, its eerie and well designed, it also has a fantastic back story.

Tenpenny tower especially with the loverly new decor added, the bodies go very well with the drapes!

Really? I downloaded a mod just so I could kill the annoying little brats.

hmmm, just some rock under a tree on hill somewhere is good enough for me, something about the whole "End of the world" theme puts me at ease, also the landscape is beautiful right before the sun completely sets

Megaton. That was my base of operations where I sold my junk and went back to after spelunking and shoting off super mutie faces. It grew on me, and now its a my favorite place.

I also hated little lamplight, because it always took endless wondering around to find whichever annoying brat you were searching for. McReedy is an arrogant prick and Princess made me want to commit infantacide.

Funny, I despised Lamplight with a passion. Go figure.

Anyway, I was fond of Megaton, as well as just the Wasteland in general.

Pre-nuked megaton
Post-nuked megaton. Once you get over the crater rim in your radiation suit, the time-portal to pre-apocalyptic Georgetown was really cool.

Ok, seriously, I like the sewers.

Agreed, outside of Rivet City at night was quite the sight.

The alien crash site - it's where you find the alien blaster after all!

I liked the "expiremental vaults" you could visit - especially the one with all the Gary's and the sound experiment vault.

The big central area in Lamplight Caverns - would have been even better if it wasn't for that snivelly little brat "Mayor", as he liked to be known. If they could only have allowed violence against children at one point in the game, it should have been there.

Paradise Falls also - my favourite settlement in the game, after Rivet City.

Old Olney

For some reason I just love going in there and totally butchering every deathclaw in the area, the sewers included. Particularly when you find the medic armour and it yells at you when you get swiped at.

Close second would be the minefield. I thought trying to navigate the mines alone was hard (didnt have lightstep at the time) but then to have a crazed gunman with a sniper rifle taking potshots at me caused me to step on many a landmine and loose a leg, ugh.

The Capitol Building, just for the nostalgic value.

And the Super Mutant Behemoth.
