Rockopolis for me. I'd make my base of operations if i could fast travel to it. If not for that, Downtown D.C. I wander through the ruins, Nothing but silence. It's also fun finding a Mutie Nest, Doing what damge i can with my sniper before moving in with nothin' but my fists and some whiskey as back up.

Museum of History.

Why? It's a museum of history! I love museums. And I love history. (Also, there's a mod where WW2 uniforms appear there.)

yeah i thought that too for a full 3 minutes until i realised there was nothing. to. do. there... i was heartbroken, you can't even sleep in the heart-shaped bed because it's just a piece of the floor.
the love machine theme for my megaton pad is cosy, though, at least. even though the pre-war theme gives sugar bombs, which allows you to trade with the gouls in seneca station.
one of the themes gives scrap metal too, i trade it with Walter upstairs from craterside suply and he's none the wiser >:D

Dukov's would be one of my favourites if there was some sort of a quest there, or something to do to give it a backstory ...

There is a quest that deals with Dukov. Shoot 'em in the Head - Go to the ghoul hideout Underworld, from that crazy ghoul who wants all the keys to get into the Fort's underground bunker to get the T-51 armor.

Seriously, best power armor in terms of usefulness (the medic armor is hilarious, but not very useful).

The Citadel. The one thing that I wanted to do more than anything else in Fallout 3 was join the Brotherhood of Steel.

I went around and spoke to EVERY SINGLE PERSON in there to see if I could join...

Anywhere that I wasn't getting shot. :[ I actually liked the whole area around Rivet City, and Rivet City itself.

the area around Arlington Library. There's a cool house with loads of traps that makes a great rest spot. add lots of raiders, mercs and enclave to beat the shit out of each other outside, and you get a great place to be!

The Pitt, no, really. Maybe it's just that its so different from the rest of the game, but, I do love The Pitt.

Megaton.It was fun decorating the doctor's office with his and his patients' blood.It was the icing on the cake when I went outside,and no body cared.But they draw their guns if I hit a Brahmin...
