Looking out over the DC ruins from the rivet city tower was always beautiful and made me feel all calm and zen. Until I pushed the old dude over the side, that is.
I really liked downtown as well. I thought it was just spooky!KXZ501 said:Downtown DC.
Urban Combat FTW!
This.miracleofsound said:I also hated little lamplight, because it always took endless wondering around to find whichever annoying brat you were searching for. McReedy is an arrogant prick and Princess made me want to commit infantacide.Internet Kraken said:Really? I downloaded a mod just so I could kill the annoying little brats.jad4400 said:Little Lamplight.
For some reason, I would always feel better after visiting that cavern full of kids (for me I always thought of them a somthing of the wastelends future, and also I just loved talking to McCredy, its funny hearing a kid swear more than any of the other characters in the game)
All you need is your dart gun and terrible shotgun and you'll be happy a pig in deathclaw shit!Zeke the Freak said:I made the mistake of going to Olney at midnight.
You guys should go there
Totally safe.
No stupid gouls or raiders or anything......
(Though youll be wishing there was)
but in the sewers is where you find the prototype medic power armor and the power armor manual (so you can wear it if you didnt learn yet). The prototype has this little built in voice that tells you when youve been spotted (usually with lines like "MAKE EM EAT LEAD" or "TIME TO KICK SOME ASS" and even greets you with "Alright, jerk, you are now wearing prototype armor. you take care of me and I'll take care of you") and is more durrable and protective then regular.
As well its the fastest place to lvl up at if youve got the stones to go and the bullets to survive.
But if your gonna go, make sure you have lots of ammo or are very sneaky. Trust me, you dont want to be caught with your pants down.... so much blood......
was it really? kinda makes me wish i didnt immediately send tiny bits of everyone there flying all over the place.MarsProbe said:Paradise Falls also - my favourite settlement in the game, after Rivet City.
Don't beat yourself up.. you did a good thingEmorich said:i loved the vaults, and the totally messed up things they were doing to the people in them. i think it was 92 where the white noise made the people inside go crazy. the diary entries where that woman starts having a breakdown over time were chilling.

Yeh, and the second time playing through, I felt quite at home amongst all the friendly slavers...Emorich said:was it really? kinda makes me wish i didnt immediately send tiny bits of everyone there flying all over the place.
....wait there's a TIME PORTAL!?!?!caross73 said:Post-nuked megaton. Once you get over the crater rim in your radiation suit, the time-portal to pre-apocalyptic Georgetown was really cool.Pre-nuked megaton
That was really disapointing... I was looking forward to doing the Riverdance on Moriarty's smouldering ashes.caross73 said:No, there's no time portal. You can't even get over the crater rim. But let me know if anybody succeeds in doing it.
ME TOO. Somebody should write a mod.miracleofsound said:That was really disapointing... I was looking forward to doing the Riverdance on Moriarty's smouldering ashes.caross73 said:No, there's no time portal. You can't even get over the crater rim. But let me know if anybody succeeds in doing it.
