Did you not see my thread around the time the movie first released? Hawkeye, man.

But Chris Evans is hot and sexy and makes me wish I was gay...

How can you not love the Mean Green?
agreed, and i've been watching "avengers: earths mightiest heroes" lately (cartoon that is pretty modern, heck they are on season 2 currently) and i'm loving the hulk on there, it reflects the movie hulk quite well i think.

^epic part of the hulk in that cartoon

Can we get some Agent Coulson love here?
I know he's not actually a member of the Avengers...

Anyways, OT, I'd probably go with Cap. I just really like the emphasis they placed on the whole "He's a SOLDIER. He's used to following orders" bit of his character and how that clashed with Tony Stark.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'll go ahead and say Tony Stark/Ironman. I think I like Robert Fowney Jr as Ironman better than the actual comic book Tony Stark.

In terms of the actual Avengers comic. My favorite is Janet van Dyne/The Wasp, she named the group after all! With Hank Pym/Ant-Man,Yellow Jacket,Giant Man as a close second. Iron man would be third.

I never liked Captain America, I guess because I don't like patriotism. The Hulk I always found so boring as a child, but as I get older I start to like him a bit more, and Thor is pretty cool I guess, but I was never a huge fan, not sure if it was because he was a god or because he personlity was pretty boring *In the comics*. I tend not to like over powered super heros, like Thor and Superman, but they are alright I guess.

I also love Spider-man, but he doesn't join the Avengers until New Avengers.

Indeed sir, you've got the two best moments in the movie right there. Hulk stole "Avengers" like Rorschach stole "Watchmen".

Movie Avengers? I am disappointed, so little to choose from and the dullest ones too. My favorite is either Ant Man, Giant Man, Goliath, Yellowjacket, or the male Wasp.

Yes, Hank Pym for the win!

EDIT: Vision is number two.
I love how insane Pym is.

movie avengers;
hawkeye
ironman
thor
hulk
cap
black widow
Nick Fury
and i'd like to note that the only large gap is, between ironman and thor. otherwise they're all virtually tied.

Comic avengers; uhhhh... little harder to nail down as there is no set team. of the comics i've read
Ironman
Mrs. Marvel
Thor
Ares
Wolverine
Quicksilver

I'd have to say Thor. Yes, probably because of my shameless man-crush on Chris Hemsworth, but to his credit, he pulls off the role really well. I just wish that they had included him a little more than they did. A close runner up would have to be Captain America. I just love how lost he is when it comes to today's modernized technological advancements, our fast-moving culture, etc, yet through it all he remains strong and kind-hearted, and never compromises who he is.

Honorable mention to Banner/Hulk, too. While he's still not my favorite, he jumped up a ways in my eyes after the Avengers.

In the movie, you cant deny that Hulk became a show stealer towards the end.

I'm kind of doubting between Captain America and Black Widow, Captain America for being good to an insane level, but he's also pretty interesting, because he's bitter about everyone he knew being dead, and not knowing the world he's in. Black Widow because I always like the characters who are manipulative, choosing her corner in which she wants to be, And when it calls for it, beating people up with her bare hands.
BOING!

Thor for me.

Part of it is who's playing him now, Chris Hemsworth is just hot, but mainly it's because I've always liked the character. The movie did a really awesome job in fleshing that character out and telling his story, plus the acting was great.

I like The Hulk, I mean, Banner is a normal guy, with a substantially higher than average IQ who has found himself in a horrible situation, and yet has found a way to make the best of it, and his alter ego despite being fueled by rage, has a soft spot.... And is technically invincible, because he gets stronger the more pissed off he is, thus frustration at not winning a fight would make him angry which would make him stronger, which would allow him to win.

Going to give it a tie between Iron Man and Hulk. Iron Man for getting the best lines, while Hulk for getting some of the best and most memorable moments.

Movie-wise, it's Hulk. He's a walking nuclear bomb. Comic-wise, it's Iron Man. His alcoholism, sleaziness and charming personality is what made me get into the Ultimates and Avengers comics.
