I don't mind the Maudite when it's at about 45 degrees F... though the last Unibroue I had (Fin du Monde) must have had a yeast problem because it sat VERY heavy in my stomach and started to expand. I couldn't stop burping. Another experience like that and I may drift to something else.s69-5 said:You actually like that swill "Maudite" and put it in the top 3!? I tried that one when I was in college and it was pretty disgusting.Melancholy_Ocelot said:After much research I've compiled a list of my favorite 5 beers. Keep in mind I'll drink almost anything in front of me except IPAs (they're too bitter).
1. St. Bernardus abt 12
2. Delirium Tremens
3. Maudite
4. Saison Brett
5. Paulaner Hefeweizen
If I have to pick a fav beer it's probably "Alexander Keith's IPA" or "Mill St. Belgian Wit".
I don't like any of the Unibroue Beer (Maudite, Fin du Monde, Blanche de Chambly) which is weird since I've not met too many beers I did not like.
