PS2, I got one for Christmas when I was 13, I spent more time with it than all other consoles I've owned combined (wasn't in to gaming much as a kid, I had a PS2 all through highschool, and now I don't have time to game I only got my 360 in '09).

I always seemed to have a tonne of fun games and it was great for socialising due to the split screen multi player being the only multi player, with the obvious exception of SOCOM.

I even had a 4 player attachment for it.
I have to agree, but I also have to add that games like Timesplitters 3 had net play servers, too. However, I'd never made use of them....

PS2 hands down. The backwards compatibility allowed me to play all the games from when I was young and it had some of the best series of games ever, like; Ratchet and Clank, Sly, Timesplitters, Jak and Daxter, Kindom Hearts. I spent so much time playing those games. The PS2 is also really sturdy, 8 years on from when I brought it and it runs the same as when I got it.

Toss up between the Dreamcast and the Sega Master System.
The Dreamcast because it came out in grade school and I was actually able to appreciate what a good game was at that age, and it had Jet Set Radio.
The Sega Master System because my parents got it when I was super young and we had a ton of games and I played the living hell out of that system.

Super Nintendo. Probably because of nostalgia, but it has super fun games like Megaman X, Super Mario RPG, and Link to the Past.

Imma go with the 360. I have a PS2, but the times when I used it I was too young to...well appreciate it enough, plus on top of that I never really have any of the classics so the whole experience was lost on me (I have Dogs Life for Christ's sake, does that say anything?).

The 360 however I've played through my entire teenage years and it has some of my favourite games on it, even though I don't have an extensive library, I don't really need one with all the awesome games I have that I can play over and over.

Though I fear it will be obsolete come the new console seeing how quickly the last generation died out under the 7th, but oh well, at least 360 game prices will drop.

although I never owned one:The N64 there's just something that seems nostalgic about those polygons.

although I never owned it in it's short life span: The Dreamcast it could have been just about perfect if it survived.

although it's a handheld: The Gameboy color it was the first game system I ever owned unfortunatly I missed out on a lot of classics playing just pokemon blue and silver

Favourite is Gamecube because I personally loved some of the games. Super Smash Brothers Melee I played for 8 years straight, FUCKING 8 YEARS!!! Every Saturday I used to have about 4-5 friends come over and play hour long matches, we made it so the loser bought the winner a drink. And Metroid Prime is one of the greatest game experiences I've ever had. There were many other games I enjoyed but those 2 I will never forget.

The Gamecube, it was one of the first i picked up and enjoyed playing the games that came with it. Also it has the majority of the Resident Evil games, so that's a bonus.

PS2, top games in all genres. I will never forget the first time I drove through Liberty city, listening to the radio, the rain on the windshield.
And there are many moments like that.

Either the Gamecube or the PS2. The Gamecube was MY first ever console that I owned, and I spent a long time playing Pokemon Colosseum/XD and Zelda...
