Alice in Stephen King's Cell. I'm not sure why, but that one absolutely destroyed me, but it was pretty well done. Granted, in any of King's books you can hardly call anyone "Good" just "Less sucky than the other guy"

Quite a few. The aforementioned end of Cowboy Bebop is one. "The one scene" in Call of Duty 4, of course. Auron in FFX gets to me since he's such a badass. Mafia: City of Lost Heaven as well, even if many of those characters were not "good people" at all.

Many more. As long as its not done in an overly elaborate manner (think 300), i'm ok with characters I like getting offed... unless its a character I am overly attached to. Thankfully, those characters almost never die.

As for Thule... yah, that was pretty sad. Only thing worse than death is living as a pathetic shell of what you once were.

For me... hmm... Terminator 2. Damn machine finally understands emotion, and than gets thrown in a vat of molten steel.

Bill from Left 4 Dead in "the passing" i loved the man his war stories made me laugh.

You just find him randomely lying on the ground.
How is that a good death? That is just a good character.

My choices are one of The Doctor's "deaths" for emotion, or Jack Harkness's for comedy.

Fred from Angel. Course she still sort've exists in body... just under possession by a demon, but her soul is mostly gone. In fact there's a lot of good character deaths in the Buffyverse, unfortunately most of them never truely stay full dead.

Well, except Tara. Poor Tara.

and yet, the bittersweet "death" of wander elicits no emotion.
