Elizabethtown, Miss Congeniality, Notting Hill, and (whisper it) Mean Girls. I will hand in my testicles at the door now...

Oh, definitely Romeo + Juliet. I love Baz Luhrman's works in general, but R+J is just something extra special (of course, it helps that it's also my favourite Shakespeare play, too...). Although I do also love The Notebook. And chick flicks in general can be quite good. I bought Closer on DVD today, cheap from CEX, so I'm looking forward to seeing that too...

EDIT: Oh, and I absolutely loved 10 Things I Hate About You, too. And most Hugh Grant films...

All the disney classics, maybe. But I hold that all of them are for both genders.

Mulan's not girly... I hold that Disney movies from childhood are unisex.
Wow, I didn't read your comment, but it seems that your wording snuck into my subconscious.

Well I don't watch many "girly" movies. But, with the exception of the Twilight movies, I haven't watched any movie intended for women that I haven't at least enjoyed.

Can't think of one where I came out of it saying, "Wow, that was really good" however.

I refuse to be ashamed. 10 Things I Hate About You is based on Shakespeare and happens to be amazing. Juno is incredibly clever and well-acted. Across the Universe is inspired by some of the greatest songs of all time and does each of them justice. I'd list several more musicals, but very few movie versions live up to the original stage performances. The Rent movie is pretty good though.

I REALLY like Meryl Streep, so I found myself enjoying The Devil Wears Prada.
Same here, I gave it a try and it turned out to be a really good movie. Stanley Tucci was great in it too.

OT: I know it isn't really a film, but I really enjoyed Rent.

Mine is Mulan (disney) apparently girly but I loved it when I was a wee lad.
Shown by this montage type thingy.
So... you?
Eff that, Mulan was totally awesome.

Probably Mean Girls. I didn't care for the main characters, but the rest of the cast was pretty entertaining. Also, Tina Fey is lovely.
And samesies. Though every guy I know likes that movie, so I have no idea.

500 Days of Summer comes to mind, but I don't really identify too many movies as being female specific... unless they are blatant chick flicks like Sex In the City which I avoid simply because the premise and characters don't appeal to me. I love a movie where chicks kick major ass. In that context, Kill Bill is two of the best chick flicks ever made. Props to dude who mentioned Aliens as well.

Mmmm.. I think this it more a mix, but the closest I can think of for a movie would be The Lost Boys. The lack of even trying to get a girl in the last few years make it hard to even tune into these things. God I need to get out more.

On TV though I have many things that I just didn't either mind or care that it was more for girls then guys. When I was young I did watch Jem and the Holigrams of all things, I've also have watched Sailor Moon, Xena (it's been playing on the woman's network, so I guess that qualifies) and Buffy.

I agree, I never really felt like I gave up my man card for liking that. Now I also like the Romeo and Juliet that these guys did as well (the one with Leo and Claire Danes)...now that one I've taken flak for.

... i tried, but all the girly films are to overwhelmed by the whole "love" thing. any funny bits have a make out scene, a romantic speech, or a wincingly over done loving gaze. plus, my favorite film type is horror, and i dont think theres a particularly feminine psychological thriller or slasher film.
