Same here, I gave it a try and it turned out to be a really good movie. Stanley Tucci was great in it too.

OT: I know it isn't really a film, but I really enjoyed Rent.

Speaking of Tucci, did you see Julie and Julia? He was even better there.

I suppose Nightmare Before Christmas, at least in my area the only people who 'like' it are emo teenage girls who wear Jack Skellington accessories, who I suspect haven't even seen it. In that sense, it gets tarred as a girly film.
